Happy New Year 2026! 🎊 We tried to bake #traditional Danish #Kransekage for New Year's Evening, and it turned out to taste delicious. The recipe is from the book "Blomsterberg's Søde Sager" (Politikkens forlag). Small #Marcipan #cakes filled with prunes and topped with hazelnuts and apricot glaze.

Baking yesterday was a success, kids have been eating all in just one day. In Danish we call it 'Rugbrødschips' (rye bread chips). Cut a loaf of rye bread in thin slices, brush with little oil, drizzle with salt and oregano, and bake for about 20 min until crispy. #snack #chips #baking #bread #fun
