Shiny Silcoon in Petalburg Woods after 1,992 ✨ Decided to do an extra phase after getting Slakoth. It's not a new entry to my Gen 3 living dex as I had a Wurmple evolve into Silcoon from a few years ago (but reset). Still super happy to find this as a wild Silcoon!

Shiny 5% Slakoth on only the 2nd phase!!! ✨ Genuinely can't believe it. Huge target obtained. Will return to Petalburg Woods in the future for another and then egg hunt the 3rd. (129/389 - Gen 3 Shiny Living Dex)

2 in 1 day! Shiny Teddiursa after 4,416 random encounters in Emerald's Safari Zone! ✨ Caught after 6 balls. My 5th one of these and fully expected to get at least one as it's 50% with this repel trick. Don't need it as I have the line completed but still cute!

Sonikks @sonikks.bsky.social · 14/12/2025

Shiny Houndour after 21,764 random encounters in Emerald's Safari Zone! ✨ My target appearing on phase 1 but it sadly fled. I was doing a level 36 repel to make it 25% with Miltank and Teddiursa. It's the last shiny I need from this area so hopefully won't take too long!

Shiny Magby after 2,908 hatched in Sapphire! ✨ My 3rd egg exclusive shiny in Gen 3 & first hatch in Sapphire. I'd only just finished hatching these in Emerald, only 7 eggs hatched in Sapphire. (125/389 - Gen 3 Shiny Living Dex)

Shiny 5% Pineco after 12,125 encounters in the Safari Zone! ✨ Caught second ball! Both of my main 2025 targets in 5% Pineco and Hoothoot caught in the past month. Another huge step forward for my Gen 3 living dex, no Safari grass rares left (123/389 - Gen 3 Shiny Living Dex)

Sonikks @sonikks.bsky.social · 06/07/2025

Jumped back into the Safari Zone and found a swift Shiny Teddiursa after 420 encounters! ✨ He sadly fled but I have the line completed and I'm sure I'll find more of these hunting down the 5% Pineco. 2 in 1 with Magmar, some decent luck at last.

Sonikks @sonikks.bsky.social · 06/07/2025

Shiny Magmar after an insane 77,700 encounters! My new longest hunt✨ #4 for my Fire Monotype Challenge through Silver. It finally appeared after a 133,884 total encounters & 3 Koffings. Such a good shiny but definitely one of, if not the toughest hunts mentally I've ever done.

Sonikks @sonikks.bsky.social · 29/06/2025

Shiny Teddiursa #2 is my 4th for #SafariWeek2025 Fled after 2 balls. Not too bothered as I have the line completed. That'll probably be my last one for this year though I'll be returning to Hoenn Safari after a break for that 5% Pineco!

@ Full Odds hunters. I've put together a little server to run some experiments with Gen 2 RNG. We need some willing participants to do some hunts across 2-4 systems on either Gen 2 physical or 3DS VC. Let me know if you're interested, or tag someone who might be.

Shiny 5% Hoothoot after 6,580 encounters! ✨ Caught it first ball! One of my main targets this year alongside Pineco. An incredibly rare shiny in Gen 3 as it's a 5% Safari target or eggs. Huge step forward for my Gen 3 living dex! (122/389 - Gen 3 Shiny Living Dex)

Shiny Cyndaquil after 66,512 soft resets in Emerald via Battle Video method ✨ An insane collective drought of 121,891 without a shiny across three games. This completes the trio in Gen 3! Chikorita -3,663 Totodile - 5,209 Cyndaquil - 66,512 (118/389 - Gen 3 Shiny Living Dex)
