...Well, /this/ is a first for me. My statement still stands, though. Fuck this shit.

JezMM's post: "Siiigh vibe-coded recomps have come for my beloved Mischief Makers next. There's only one video up of it which doesn't show any of the 3D scenery stages, but the 3D rocks in the intro have broken textures. Emulation used to have that problem decades ago but it emulates perfect these days."

My response to their post: "I'm so sorry. Truly an injustice." "Truly an injustice" is underlined in red, signifying it as the part quoted in the article title.

Picked up Mina the Hollower, and it's been fun so far. Unfortunately, though, I lost over 1,000 Bones to /this/ jackass a few minutes ago, and I'm still fuming about it. I will exact my revenge upon them. Just you wait.

A cropped screenshot of Mina the Hollower showing an enemy dressed in armor with a sword and shield.

i'm gonna /get 'em/ for what they've done

I also recorded a (partial) timelapse for the first time:

"Deep down, Rain /was/ looking forward to the next time they crossed paths. That Scarlet made for one heck of a rival, not just because she was a good fighter, but because, after all, they were opposing forces. Power and grace. Fury and control. Fire and ice." #art #SonicOC #SW149OC

Scarlet Pyraga, a red hedgehog girl, and Rain the Fox, a blue... fox girl, do battle in the cityscape of Station Square during a cloudy day, surrounded by buildings. Billboards and signs in the background say (sometimes partially) "CHILI DOGS HERE", "PIZZA", "Visit Spagonia", and "A BOLD NEW VISION - CHAO IN SPACE - COMING SOON..."

Scarlet's levitating in mid-air, having just flown through a hole in the most upright of three ice pillars that Rain has created. Her hand is outstretched and smoking, implying she's melted the hole herself using her fire powers, and as her foot jets further melt the hole-- sending large water droplets to slide down it, lighting the nearby area with an orange glow, and causing a plume of steam to trail off behind her-- she looks /very/ annoyed at Rain with a sneer on her face and bulging veins on her forehead.

Rain grins back at her smugly as she, too, is in mid-air, leaned back slightly with her right leg lifted up. Rain's tail blows out from behind her, covering her lower torso. Her right hand is in the process of moving up, implying she's in the middle of creating the ice pillars.

The viewpoint is slightly tilted to the left, giving the image a more dynamic look.

Reaching into the archives again. I drew some art of Tangle way back when she was initially revealed. #art #SonicTheHedgehog #IDWSonic

Art depicting Tangle the Ring-Tailed Lemur, a Sonic character who originated in the IDW comics. She's walking to the right of the image, her long tail raised behind her as she points upward with a wink. The background is a gradiented dark grey with three unevenly-long orange lines.

The only thing that matches Scarlet's fiery temper and her desire for a good fight... is her determination to make a difference. Another birthday piece, this time for my main girl. I'm a day off, but close enough. Tried a little bit of perspective here. #art #SonicOC #SW149OC

Scarlet Pyraga, a red hedgehog girl with orange markings on her quills and four bangs, flies through the air with fire coming out of her boots (dark red with orange fins and tips that have black lines in the middle and black soles with a curve where the lines connect with them). She wears a white sleeveless shirt with orange accents; blue pants with a black belt that has a square-U-shaped buckle, a sun symbol on the right leg, and black portions on the bottom of the leggings; and black fingerless gloves with yellow and dark red cuffs, as well as dark red trim where her fingers come out. She's seen slightly from above with her left arm and knee raised and a determined expression, grinning. Her left fist is covered in fire, signifying her abilities.

A swirling red and orange background is behind her, slightly gradiented to look darker. There are also uneven bars on the top and bottom of the art piece with a red-to-black gradient and the words "SCARLET PYRAGA" bolded, repeating, and at an angle.

...Two months since I first posted this, and I /just/ realized I forgot to re-enable the droplet layers on Rain's birthday picture. Fixed now. I've preserved the original description and thread. Read it below. #art #SonicOC #SW149OC

A blue fox girl named Rain stands with her back to the viewer, her head turned to look back at them with a half-lidded, bored expression and an icy blue eye. She has dark blue lipstick on her lower lip. Her hair is a lighter shade of blue from the rest of her body, having both long hair down the middle and pigtails to either side of her head. There are white tips on the pointed ends of her body (ears, tail, hair). She wears a dark blue outfit with a black section around her midriff surrounded by white trim. Her tail sticks out behind her from an invisible hole in the black section, water droplets dripping from it. The ends of her sleeves have white cuffs. Her left arm is curved upwards, showing off her clawed, icy hand. Her right hand is down by her side, normal and curled into a fist.

A background can be seen in front of her, displaying an overcast sky with rain (the weather) pouring down. There are also uneven bars on the top and bottom of the art piece with a dark-blue-to-black gradient and the words "RAIN THE FOX" bolded, repeating, and at an angle.

In addition, have this custom sleeping animation I made for the model. I don't exactly have much animating experience (2D or 3D), but hey, I tried. #art #SW149OC #SonicOC

#Bedruary Day 24 - Sleepover: Bed Time Sadly, Maddie's custom-built noise-cancelling headphones were in the shop. At least /Scarlet/ got some good sleep that night. #art #SonicOC

Scarlet, Maddie, & Rain lie on the floor with pillows and sleeping bags in the dark. Scarlet's asleep, her mouth open and drooling. Maddie and Rain are awake, Maddie facing Rain in anguish and Rain looking back annoyed, covering her ears with her hands (a bandage is on her head from last time). Both have bags under their eyes. Dialogue is as follows (Maddie and Rain whisper):

Scarlet: [SNOOOOORE...]
Rain: ...Sooo, Mads, want me to shove my pillow down her throat? That could shut her up long enough for us to get to sleep.
Maddie: Rain, noooo...!
Rain: Okay, it's just a suggestion!
Maddie: Well, it's a terrible suggestion! She could choke to death.
Rain: ...You guys are always crampin' my style.
Maddie: Look, you're just sore about the pillow fight. Scarlet did apologize for it. At least try to get some sleep so you can cool down.
Rain: Yeah, you better believe I'm "sore". And not just in the way you think. [quieter] ...You try landing on a frickin' car sometime, see how fun it is.

#Bedruary Day 17 - Sleepover: Pillow Fight! Sometimes Scarlet forgets her own strength. (don't worry, Rain is indeed fine) #art #SonicOC

Scarlet and Maddie (in casual clothes), showing expressions of perplexment and concern respectively, stand near a wall inside a dark-purple room with a Looney Tunes-esque hole in it shaped like Rain, implying she was sent flying through the wall. They're both holding pillows, Scarlet physically and Maddie using her telekinesis ability. Dialogue is as follows:

Scarlet: ...Whoops. Think I swung a little too hard. Sorry about the wall, Maddie.
Maddie: It's no problem. I can always fix it later. Besides, you did technically get her back for those ice thumbtacks. You, uh... think we should check on her?
Scarlet: Nah, she's taken plenty of hits like that from my fists and walked it off. She'll be fine.
Maddie: ...But we're on the second floor.
Scarlet: You don't know Rain like I do, Mads. Besides, the car broke her fall.
Rain (offscreen): Owwww...
Scarlet: Told ya.

#Bedruary Day 10 - Sleepover: Truth or Dare/Pranks It wouldn't be Rain if she didn't use her ice powers for mischief every now and then. You don't need to be a detective to figure out who her favorite target is (even if it means she'll be punched later by said target)... #art #SonicOC

Scarlet (left) and Rain (right) stand on a carpet in a dark-purple room, dressed in casual clothes and sandals. Scarlet has ice thumbtacks-- pointed to by an arrow labeled "Ice thumbtacks left in her seat* (ouch!)"-- sticking out from her rear end, as well as an annoyed expression and a clenched fist with her other hand pointing at Rain; the fox doubles over with laughter, a hand on her gut and tears forming in the corners of her closed eyes. Dialogue follows:

Rain: PFFHAHAHAHA...!!
Scarlet: I'm going to get you back for this, you little gremlin.
Rain: Ow! Oh, my ribs! This never gets old!
Scarlet: Yeah, and neither will you if you keep this up.
Maddie (offscreen, but her bubbles are labeled with her head): Please, you two, don't get any blood on my nice carpet. ...Also, don't kill each other. I should have led with that.

There's a disclaimer in the bottom-left leading from the earlier label: "*Please don't try this at home with real thumbtacks (unless you want people to hate you)."

#Bedruary Day 3 - Sleepover: Hanging Out Poor Maddie. Should have known what she'd be getting into when she invited /these/ two to stay at her house for the night. #art #SonicOC

From left to right, Maddie the Armadillo, Scarlet Pyraga (a hedgehog), and Rain the Fox sit (or in Rain's case, recline) on a brown couch on top of a tan carpet in casual clothes with slippers/sandals in front of a dark purple wall. Scarlet has a perturbed expression, Maddie a confused one, and Rain a bored one. Rain holds a bucket of popcorn, some of it scattered on the floor. They're all watching an offscreen TV. Text on the art reads as follows:

SFX: ZAP! BANG! POW!

Scarlet: Man, this Chao in Space reboot keeps getting worse.

Maddie: T-Then why are we still sitting here watching it?! We could be using all this time for more practical things, like lessons in chemistry or--

Rain: Naaah, science bores me to tears. Riffin' on crappy films is way more fun.

Scarlet: ...She's out of line, but she's right.

Maddie: [sigh] Remind me not to let either of you guys pick the first activity next time.

Rain: Eh, your loss.

More birthday gift art, this time for @spatsula.bsky.social of her OC/VTuber avatar, Nia (though I was a few days off the mark when it was completed). I'm tellin' y'all right now, Spats is great at drawing/animating/rigging. If you're 18+, check her streams and stuff out. #art

The picture is of a catgirl named Nia with pink, purple, and/or blue hair, eyes, nails, clothing (crop top shirt, leotard, and glittery spandex bodysuit that covers her arms and legs, as well as mismatched socks and a collar with a multicolored, heart-shaped gem attached), and a tail that curves into a heart shape. Her right ear has a heart piercing, and her left has a heart-shaped hole, while there's a heart mark just above her lip (sensing a pattern yet?). She's striking a pose, her right hand (both hands have cat beans on them, by the way) shooting out multicolored pixie dust.

Some old stuff. Drew some birthday art for Namrii (who doesn't have a Bluesky account, to my knowledge, but she's on Twitter) of her character Bright in 2020. Bright's species and design have changed since I made this, so she's gonna look different on Namrii's account. #art

A ferret (now fox) girl named Bright strikes a pose with her left hand forming a peace sign. A glittering tan colored background is behind her, with a large white trim.

Still making Minecraft Scarlet things. I've been working on custom armor for her (thanks to Katt from the Figura Discord for her Katt Armor script), starting with chainmail. The other sets will get worked on, too, of course. #art

A blocky Minecraft version of Scarlet stands in a flat, grassy field with scattered objects behind her. Her head is tilted to her left as she looks upward. She's covered in chainmail armor and holding a sword.

Well, since spooky season is rapidly approaching, I might as well repost this Halloween-themed Scarlet drawing I made around this time last year. Her outfit here is based on a design from @shinkumancer.bsky.social. #art

Scarlet, dressed in her usual attire with the addition of a red-and-black cloak and short skirt with a red belt and gold belt buckle, walks menacingly towards the viewer with a dark glare, a smirk on her face, and both of her hands set ablaze. A smoky, gradiented purple background is behind her, and a cold wind blows her looser elements to the left of the picture.

Recently, I've been making a Scarlet model to use with Minecraft's Figura mod, based off the official Sonic DLC for the game. ...I'd show how she looks in-game, but y'know, there's no support for videos or GIFs on here yet. #art

A Minecraft-styled model of my Sonic fancharacter, Scarlet Pyraga, standing in a default pose with her arms to her sides.
