I know, but it wasn't before with the Self-ID law in vigor. It allowed only 1 change and needed the tribunal approval in case they needed to revert back. Don't get me wrong, this section is to further push conversion therapies (still legal in portugal) and make the process easier for them.

Ok so this is probably a unicum as I suspected. Yesterday the self-ID law in Portugal was abolished, and they brought back the medicalization process. But they added a section on detransition, allowing people to revert the change in the documents and extend the medical assistance to detransitioners
