[2/2] Rip to your feelings.

The hold person fails as Umbriel's will is too strong. Negative energy static breaks the chains off of them. They look at the party and think, "They are all so terrified."

Idyia realizes her spell isn't working on umbriel she gasps, "-You're still moving?"

Umbriel grabs the collar of Barkley's shirt. Barkley is shaking and tears build in their eyes.

Umbriel thinks, " What am I doing? This needed to look real, but not like this." Umbriel winks to Barkley but barkley doesn't quite understand what that is supposed to be a sign of.
Barkley asks "W-what are you-?" as tears stream down their face.

"... The fear I bring." umbriel thinks as they cast dimension door.

A triangular portal opens under Barkley. Barkley grab's onto Umbriel's wrist. They are terrified. Umbriel still holds them by the collar of their shirt and pushes them through the portal As they do so they think, "I hate this power."

The portal opens up at the top of a cliff over the sea. A short distance away from the beach they were fighting at. The moon lights the scene.

Barkley , trembling asks, "Umbriel what are you doing?" as Umbriel holds them over the edge of the cliff.

-Extra knowledge. That line of "I want to know if they even care about you" Umbriel was being purposfuly vague on who THEY even are. Were they talking about the god Nimue? Rindus, whom was barkley's bf or was Umbriel talking about the gods in general as they have had terrible luck with the gods.

Umbriel looks down into the cold, waves hitting the cliffs hard. waiting.

Hoping that not all gods were like the first night.

The other campaign moment I drew a #comic for. That entirely was a moment the DM was like "Hey can you do me a favor have have Umbriel be unhinged for a moment." Yeah no problem boss it was a sick roleplaying time. [1/2]

Comic pages: Umbriel is a void genasi with the aura of a general. Their speech bubbles are in black with white text while the rest of the party is in white bubbles with black text.

Umbriel addresses the party after their attempt to get a local gods attention go wrong. "Well they said they want to protect something here." Umbriel summons their weapon, a glaive while thinking, why do they always make me do this?, then they speak out loud to the party "I'm so tired of violence, lets see how much they care."

Barkley a nonbinary aasimar shouts "Umbriel what-" as Umbriel comes after specifically them with their glaive.

Rindus Barkley's boyfriend and a rogue triton tries to stop Umbriel and shouts, "Nooo!"

Sir Antarys Prise a drow sorcerer lunges for Umbriel.

Prise hold's Umbriel to the ground, "What are you doing?" Prise says to Umbriel, "Why are you attacking Barkley?"

Umbriel looks at him and says, " I will do whatever is necessary to get Nimue to talk to us."

Umbriel fades into Sir Prises's shadow as they do a misty-step spell. When they are in the shadow they see a pool of light they entered the shadow from and everything around them is shadow.

Umbriel falls through the shadows and directs themself to another pool of light. They say to themselves, "No gods will control us ever again."

The bottom panel Umbriel's head pierces the shadows by someone elses feet.

Umbriel is behind barkley, Rindus stares at them angrily. Umbriel rises from the shadows and says, " If Nimue really wanted to protect these people, they would be here now. But no. They just want mindless toys for their perfect little toy box. "

Idyia a triton cleric shouts, "Stop it Umbriel!"

Umbriel keeps going, "I'll bur it all down. Starting with their prized little Aasimar."

Idyia shouts louder as she casts hold person on everyone, " Everyone Stop!" A bright light appears in the center of the group and chains rise up and circle everyone.

Barkley says, "W-what are you talking-"

The glow in Umbriel's eyes darken as they go cold. They think, " please forgive me."

A few years ago I was playing Umbriel in a #D&D5e campaign. It had many awesome moments but I did a #comic for only 2 of them. This was the first time #Umbriel opened up to the party about their #warlock pact.

Panel 04: They close their eyes hold up their hand as if trying to grasp something. "You think you can stop something older then the gods? You think there is a we to this? heh..."

panel 05" Umbriel looks sharply to Sir Antarys Prise, " That this could be dealt with?"

panel 06: Prise a drow with small round glasses and long pink hair wears a well pressed suit and says, "Of course I don't quite understand what this is?"

Panel 01: Umbriel looks tensely at Sir Prise, " Prise In order to breathe I need to Kill."

Panel 02: Prise looks extremely concerned but Umbriel continues to speak, " I'm given a mark, I kill and then I'm given another-"

Panel 03: A shot looking at Umbriel standing in the woods, Umbriel looks to the ground, "- The first night uses me as a pawn. In order for me to live others need to die. I stand before you having never failed to slay my mark."

Panel 04: Someone is listening to this conversation in woods from behind some bushes. It is Rindus a triton rogue. He crouches down having not been spotted. Umbriel is still speaking, " And who knows, One day the first night may say it's you."

Panel 05: Zoom in of Rindus hiding. He is holding a soft pretzel he brought in order to show Umbriel that they are a team now after an earlier conversation in a tavern. Umbriel is still speaking, " And I will not hesitate to kill you. You are dispensable."

Panel 01: Rindus grips the pretzel so hard it crumbles in his grasp.

Panel 02: The pretzel falls to the ground.
