Yea I struggle a bit to keep the text on the creatures short and informative. I'm planning to add a more detailed rule set for each creature in the rule book, with examples, so if further questions show up, check the rule book. Do you think that would work?

Every creature has a different health base, so I think we need this kind of format. There is a bunch of other things how we scale player count difficulty, but thats not on the creatue cards.

Working on the new and perhaps final versions of the alien creature cards. Numbers at the top are needed when it activates and attacks you, numbers at the bottom are needed when you attack it. Any feedback is welcome :) #boardgames

Maybe a bit of Zombicide and Space Hulk, but much more character customization and freedom and a bit less luck, more planning, and we made sure every mission is wildy dynamic and different. I want you to experience something new each time you setup and play, but still keep the complexity medium :)

Thanks for the shoutout :) There is so much to say about Somnus. It's a game about what it means to be human in a hostile world. It's also a really fun co-op tactics game in which we put everything we ever wanted, the freedom to build a character YOU want and challenging unique missions :)

Is there a way to make it more fun for you, and also for the reader of the rules? Some games went beyond some dry teaching of the rules. I saw one that did it in a comic form, which was pretty cool. Others wrote the rules like a person from the game is talking to you.

In my experience, there is not my side and an opposite side, but many sides, with nuances. We can have ideas in which we agree, and ideas in which we don't agree. And talking about those is usually fun and engaging. But I'm lucky enough that I usually don't get in contact with very extreme people.

Thats interesting... I think the amygdala has an influence on our ability to detect danger. Not sure if these aliens also have an amygdala haha, but why not. Cool idea to use brain parts as a name. Have to check which is the one that manages aggression. Maybe names could be based of a chemical?

Steadily. It's a massive project and I do all the art and graphic design myself, but getting there. The game design is pretty much finished after over 1000 playtests. I think next year we are getting really close to crowdfunding :) Thanks for asking!
