Not to brag but I just got knighted on stage during the Haute and Freddy "Big Disgrace" tour here in Nashville, Tennessee! I'm fangirling so hard right now! music.youtube.com/playlist?lis...

Cover art of the album "The Big Disgrace" by the band Haute and Freddy - where troubadour Haute with her yellow wide bob hair, red tipped collar sits with one white ruffled sleeve akimbo and her other wrist rests on the shoulder of Freddy, who sits in a red crown and red and black tunic, strumming a lute. Circus performers surround them with a good and green tent in the forested background. A strongman kneels with an enormous barbell hand play behind hoisted behind Haute- raucous performers dance

We've been here before, we shall make it through again

Rewatching A Muppet Christmas Carol, Michael Caine's performance leaves me awestruck every time

Image of Michael Caine as Ebenezer Scrooge in The Muppets Christmas Carol (1992), speaking to the Ghost of Christmas Future in a frozen graveyard, asking "Who was the wretched man whose death brought so much glee and happiness to others?"

Image of a gravestone, with Scrooge swiping away snow from the lettering beneath, revealing the name "Henry Kissinger" underneath

My child was angry at me the other day, and wrote themself this letter. My resolve crumpled in a way I didn't know was possible!

A scrap of lined notebook paper with my child's handwriting, stating "[my child's name], get a dog. Don't read books."

I can't believe it, apparently he was going skydiving with a Christian baby when it happened, but things went horribly, horribly wrong

Happy Turkey day, stay safe everyone

Copy of an old magazine advertisement by the Ad council. It has been edited to say "This Thanksgiving remember the Marijuana, but forget the cranberry sauce. Terry was convinced to take a "slice" of a can with his friend "just to relax". Immediately after, Terry killed his friend who had given him the cranberry sauce in a murderous craze. Not so safe, is it? Cranberry sauce, not even once." The ad features two photos, one of a relaxed Terry toking on a joint, another where he holds the shoulder of another man, aggressively stabbing another man with a look of hatred in his eyes.

Just another reminder that this did not start on October 7. Genocide is directly tied to dehumanizing language

Copy of a tweet from @somniumancer on Twitter, date-timed 11:46AM 15 July 2022. It has two attached excerpts from The Times of Israel, and says "This sort of language, referring to an entire people's as an "issue" or a "problem" in need of a "solution" -- history has seen this exact language before.

The state of Palestine and its people are not a problem nor issue to be solved.

Zionism ≠ Judaism (they are NOT the same)

Quoted excerpt from The Times of Israel, reading "While it is a good thing that Israeli-Arab relations are no longer being held hostage to the Palestinian issue, The Jerusalem Declaration makes clear that the problem must be addressed by the parties for the future security of Israel, the Palestinians and their neighbors as well. This, too, is a message that should not be taken for granted since parties on all sides have been tempted to interpret the Abraham Accords as a sign that the Palestinian issue no longer holds away in the region." With the twice repeated phrase "Palestinian issue" and the word problem highlighted. Again, people are not problems to be solved.

2nd excerpt reading "The contrast between those assertions - Amnesty International for example tweeted, even as the president was arriving in Israel, that the Jewish state is an 'apartheid' entity - and the strategic and moral collaboration between two great democracies could not be starker. and the emphasis on strengthening and expanding the Abraham Accords in the document presents a vision for the future of the region that is a marked contrast of the anti-Israeli forces that only ensures more conflict and suffering. Fourth, when all this is said and done, the Declaration makes clear that the future vision for the region and for US-Israel relations is not a vehicle to ignore or avoid the Palestinian issue, but rather one that provides an opportunity and an opening to make significant progress toward a solution of the problem." Again, highlighted is the phrase"Palestinian issue" as well as "a solution of the problem". Again, and I cannot stress this enough, A PEOPLES ARE NOT A PROBLEM

It's the Anthony Adams meme where he peeks out from behind a tree in a brilliant yellow suit, rubbing his hands together and licking his lips, but head and shoulders of the image of have been replaced by a grunt from the video game Halo

Studying data science, I've been paying a lot of attention to how corporations are commercializing AI. "Generative AI" models are the hot topic for now, but are not sustainable in their current form for our future. They are designed to be plagiarism machines used to avoid having to pay artists.

Everyone involved gave their all and we were able to raise funds for non-profits benefitting our community, including the Nashville Oasis Center and Larkspur Conservation, organizations benefitting local youth success and environmentally sustainable burial practices, respectively.

Preparing for a quick photoshoot before the show begins, photography by Ray Rose Photography (raysin_brand on Insta), local models Blaze & Evilene pose together in the background. (This shot was not ideally edited in my opinion, and they are blurred out)

The exhilaration from walking in the @gothbats.bsky.social Life, Death, and Rebirth runway has left my soul spellbound. So proud of the alternative fashion community coming together, it was an honor to play a part.
