His neck craned lower while slowly tilting , tail thudding against the floor. Tea party. How strange. A childish whimsy that reminded him of days gone. " Th-at is why you ask ME? " Echoing the others intentions back in her face as if to confirm his suspicions. Claws flexing against concrete.

" It is. " He echoed the sentiment before rumbling noises came from his maw. " Co-me inside. " Fully ducking himself into the structure, white hues scanning over the area before wandering to the west wing. He wasn't waiting.

Outside of the looping bird chirping there was not much more comfortable in the situation. Walking through the central area where bright lights buzzed. CatNaps hues wandered until they got to Home Sweet Home. Pushing the door open and crawling himself inside. Glancing back almost expectantly.

𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐍𝐀𝐏 @somniferoushepard.bsky.social · 01/04/2026

Low broken purrs continue before looking down at the small toy. Head tilting sidewards, tail swaying back and forth. " There a-are old crafts in H-home sweet home. If y-ou want to decorate. " Turning his body and starting to walk towards Home sweet home.

It looked like a simply inanimate toy. Outside of staining and drips from its feet. There was a certain nonchalance about CatNap putting the critters on rebar pieces. Simply being left to hag there like morbid laundry. " It will suf-fice."

000

𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐍𝐀𝐏 @somniferoushepard.bsky.social · 01/04/2026

" No. " He said simply as talons flexed. He didnt need to carry them far to the shrine. However it wouldn't hurt to let these toys drain. Grabbing a mini critter of DogDay, eyeing an exposed piece of rebar. Striding over and hanging it by the back of its collar .

000

𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐍𝐀𝐏 @somniferoushepard.bsky.social · 01/04/2026

" Ga-thering materi-al. " Some of it was already shredded, some broken. But it mattered not. The Prototype wanted his shrine to be more lively. They were brightly colored critters atleast . " Secret...b-base? "

000

𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐍𝐀𝐏 @somniferoushepard.bsky.social · 01/04/2026

His collecting came to a halt, a small pile of bodies infront of him with an ever growing pool of blood seeping from those who failed. Head slowly looking up, white hues settling on the small Jester. " You're back again? "

000

𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐍𝐀𝐏 @somniferoushepard.bsky.social · 01/04/2026

Collecting more parts. Broken purring sounds rumbled from his open maw. Failures of little critters- miniscule information gathered. But information all the same.

𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐍𝐀𝐏 @somniferoushepard.bsky.social · 29/03/2026

His limited knowledge of other interpersonal relationships between the Prototype and other toys would show. Red smog slowly trickling from his maw as slow deliberate movements shifted his emaciated body into a standing position. He atleast knew her name.

Head turned to look at the shrine he had so lovingly made. Clearly his offerings were not up to his heros standards; as much as it hurt to hear . He could only improve. Retractable claws slipping from the others needles without resistance. Glowing hues intensified as his thoughts wandered to what

Those words mean so much to the critter; glowing hues peering up towards the hand without a word. As long as directions were given he'd happily walk the path, faint rumbling purrs came from the beasts open maw. A sign of his content and comfort at his heroes words.

" Yes. YES I w-ill. " He took these words to whatever sanity he retained. He managed to keep praying parts together having goals, having desires to make his hero happy. It was how he hadn't dissolved into a feral beast after a decade .

Shibe Brewing my own interpretation of CatNaps deaths scene, he seemed apprehensive at first. Unsure of the Prototypes intention. But it was quite short lived. It was a debt that needed to be repaid. The false sense of purpose, direction and desire. CatNap gave his life for what he believed in.
