-It was kinda fun to see the enneagram on our timeline this morning, even if its not being utilized for what it is meant for. We use it as a tool to identify/see our fragments in our polyfragmented system for better management of the chaos.-

Its really really important people understand these links between dissociation and the early childhood intensity of being trans and how well the brain adapts to reduce your pain. And, gatekeeping of any sort just increases the amount you have to get past to begin to even touch on the dissociation.

160

Meitheal 🫏🦘🦨🐈☉∇ @somni.luxe · 01/10/2026

The amount of dissociation comorbid with the trans experience (and autistic experience), makes it incredibly hard to navigate it all. At minimum you got a level of DPDR going on, you may have even heavy body dysmorphia. But you also may be perfectly fine body wise, and just supressing identity...

Many of the trans, therian, plural circles that I run around in prove time and time again that it really is as simple as existing in a space that isn't a harmful stereotype and giving people space to explore "wait, theres a word for that?" Its just the "left handedness chart" but for other things.

Remember hypocrisy is way authoritarians and fascists display power. Always try to deconstruct your responses to it. The only people hypocrisy matters to is people existing inside the game, ie liberals.

Meitheal 🫏🦘🦨🐈☉∇ @somni.luxe · 25/09/2026

Not a bad idea. We dont need it right away so we may wait and see if a specific solution custom to the frame drops but I'm gonna go save this link.

Overall we have given a lot of us very distinct and good embodiments. Most of Ash, Bán, Sé, parts of Maebh, Réalta, Luxe, Firinne and Roisín are all tremendously happy with what they have.

030

Meitheal 🫏🦘🦨🐈☉∇ @somni.luxe · 25/09/2026

•Ciara wants us to figure out how to export the mesh and textures in the project we own into substance painter because the model she likes/we own doesnt have a substance painter file. She wants to make some significant tweaks and improve the design even though she really likes the avatar.

130

Meitheal 🫏🦘🦨🐈☉∇ @somni.luxe · 25/09/2026

•Aisling has two parts that need their own work beyond his primary avatar. The toy part needs a pooltoy edit, and the doll part needs to figure out how to express at all/what it is. •Niamh wants to work something into her visual design language that can carry between the many shapes she inhabits.

130

Meitheal 🫏🦘🦨🐈☉∇ @somni.luxe · 25/09/2026

•Quinn likes the mantled beast but us unhappy with the specific one its wearing regularly due to some bad body tracking. If we can't get that fixed it will reconsider and switch over to the vulper/volter as a base. Still needs to work out its visual design though once base is settled.

130

Meitheal 🫏🦘🦨🐈☉∇ @somni.luxe · 25/09/2026

•Siofra knows shes a chakat with red hair and green eyes (courtesy of parts of ciara she absorbed.) beyond that she isn't sure what her fur looks like or any patterns. So we'll need to figure that out for her. •Veil has no idea other than it generally being a drone/faceless.

130

Meitheal 🫏🦘🦨🐈☉∇ @somni.luxe · 25/09/2026

Parts yet to figure out their shape design/visual design/embodiment: • Maebh knows what she looks like but has texture changes needed for her noctide form to bring it in line. Once thats in line she will probably edit her chibi avatar patterns to match.

140

Meitheal 🫏🦘🦨🐈☉∇ @somni.luxe · 25/09/2026

Yeah if my spouse likes hers a lot, I may get a second frame when that strap drops just for me.

020

Meitheal 🫏🦘🦨🐈☉∇ @somni.luxe · 25/09/2026

The eye tracking will be nice, also obviously I expect a face tracker to get released by third parties designed for it The real main pain is going to be the battery life. Dunno the right solution to resolve that except maybe a bunch of battery banks.

250

Meitheal 🫏🦘🦨🐈☉∇ @somni.luxe · 25/09/2026

So far we like the steam frame. Cant switch from the index to it as main since we bought it to try to get our partner into vrchat. If she doesnt like it ae may switch to it after we get ourself a set of fluxpose body trackers. We definitely will use it for remote/travel play.

A blue figure on a simple white background and a braid of hair to the side has a diamond set in the center of Their face sticking out. The figure has no eyes or nose but is staring at the world. They straddle male and female features in hints of their expression but don't land entirely in either.
