In Japan, Hinamatsuri is celebrated on March 3rd. During Hinamatsuri, we pray for the healthy growth, health, and happiness of girls. Families with girls display Hina dolls.

「おーい、かみさま」覗けそうなものはたいがい覗いてしまう。ほとんどは何もないんだけど、たまにすごく素敵な花が咲いていたり生き物がいたり、忘れ去られた誰かの宝物があったりする。想像で空洞に意味を持たせてしまう。ぽっかり口を開けた洗濯機にももしかしたら神さまが住んでいたりして！と思って描いたイラスト🧚 化石レベルに古い作品だけど、お気に入りだからアップしちゃうぞ！ #Art

Hello fairy!

I drew this illustration a long time ago, and I really like it. I don't find much, but I get excited thinking that something might be living inside the hole. I drew this with the theme that a fairy might be hiding inside the washing machine while it's taking a break.

言わないときも言ってはいけないときもはたまた言わなければならないときもある。言葉をのみこむこと、言いたくない言葉を言わなければいけないことは時としてとてつもないストレスが伴う。言葉ひとつで人生は変わるし変えてしまう。自分の言葉でも他の人の言葉でも。言葉は人を救うが時に人を呪いもする。言葉を紡ぐことは労力とは裏腹にとても難しいものだ。

2020年の暑中見舞

Works sent for summer greetings in 2020.
In Japan there is the culture of using seasonal greetings. The purpose of the summer greeting is to make sure they are staying healthy in the hot summer. In Japanese, it is called Shochu-Mimai. The summer greeting cards are exchanged from mid-July to 6th August, which is the first day of autumn on the traditional Japanese calendar.
The summer greeting cards being sent after that time is called Zansho-Mimai.

テーマは磐梯熱海温泉に伝わる萩姫伝説　#Art

This artwork is based on the legend of Princess Hagi, which is passed down at Bandai Atami Hot Springs in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan.

Hagi is the name, but the characters are the kanji that represent the plant Bush clover.

These illustrations were created when I participated in a project to draw illustrations based on a theme in one hour. The themes are glasses, suits, cigarettes, and gas masks. However, there are some works that could not be completed in one hour 😭
