More sunstorm posting here are two bits from idw2 panels that I really liked

A set of panels from the idw2019 run of transformers comics. The panels show Sunstorm, a golden jet transformer, trying to convince Shockwave, a purple transformer with one eye, to let him out of a glass containment cell by promising enlightment. Shockwave refuses, since Sunstorm is extremely radioactive, but remarks that Sunstorm's condition has made him interesting.

A different set of panels from the idw2019 transformers comic. A robot named Onslaught is standing watch over Sunstorm, as Sunstorm tries to convince Onslaught to let him out of his cell by offering cryptic promises of awakening. Another Robot named Vortex walks in and comments that Sunstorm's mental state hasn't improved. Onslaught tells Vortex to take over watch duty and leaves, while Sunstorm begins pestering Vortex to free him instead.

For Optimus, there is nothing left of Cybertron to choose. There are still Cybertronians to choose, and he will choose them, but the planet is long gone to him. For Elita that isn't the case, and so their positions as leaders are diametrically opposed.

Skybound is so good it blows my mind. I thought I wouldn't like this take on Elita, it would just be more edgy garbage like idw1 did, but it's actually amazing. Her an Optimus really care about each other, but they have both lost so much and it isn't enough.
