Great question Patrick! I did a brief analysis and found there are 7784 parcels below 30 DURA and 4239 parcels above 30 DURA (and a bunch with no homes which are excluded). Here's the map. Since the value is around the city average it's fairly mixed. There is some east/west differences though.
A map showing Somerville parcels noted by whether they are above or below 30 Dwelling Units per Residential Acre (DURA).

We are continuing to present some _very_ nitty-gritty details about use and requirement changes to zoning text. One great detail, shown here, is “at least 10k sf for Community Center uses” - this means places like the Dojo, a youth center that Somernova has been running for some time.Scree
Screenshot of Master Plan Standards, showing a number of requirements, most especially required 10,000 square feet of Community Center, and 8% for Arts & Creative Enterprise Uses.

We’re getting _deep_ into the weeds here, talking about Use Categories and Specific Uses in our zoning. An example is screenshotted.

Our very own @thejeffbyrnes.com is remotely attending tonight’s #VilleMA Land Use Committee + Planning Board joint hearing! Up first is 297 Medford St, a proposal to build 7 storeys, ~50 homes of 100% Affordable Housing, making use of our Affordable Housing Overlay.

Today we dropped off our first zoning amendment petition! This amendment will simplify & streamline regulations for building or renovating dormers, removing multiple onerous rules that make it difficult or impossible for folks to modify their homes to better suit their ever-changing needs.
