Today I was helping clean a walk in freezer at a restaurant. First time in one in a very long time. The smell gave me the most intense feeling of remembering moments with my mom at my first job (a deli she worked at too) and I just broke down crying. That fast. Grief is a tricky bitch.

People don’t understand when we say our medications are life saving we don’t just mean “energy like caffeine!!” We mean executive functioning and that means all of this ^ I make doc appts, remember to eat food I’ve prepped, can manage my job and family life. It’s not “just a stimulant”
