there is yuri everywhere for those with the eyes to see it

000

Lichen @somecrustosething.bsky.social · 10/11/2025

I'm too yuri brained I read about Lilith (idk if it's that Lilith) making her home in Inanna's huluppu tree and upsetting her and went "yuri? is this perhaps yuri i see? yuri of the toxic variety?"

Lichen @somecrustosething.bsky.social · 10/11/2025

this is kinda disrespectful to how Wolkstein has written it, she says it more like "kissing the phallus" but I think my interpretation of her interpretation is funnier ☝️ /joke

000

Lichen @somecrustosething.bsky.social · 10/11/2025

(reading "Inanna: Queen of Heaven and Earth" by Wolkstein and Kramer)

100

Lichen @somecrustosething.bsky.social · 10/11/2025

(nsfw text) i don't rly understand how "me" works in sumerian literature/belief (I'm trying) but enki giving inanna the me of sucking dick is really funny to me

100

Lichen @somecrustosething.bsky.social · 16/09/2025

getting fixated on inanna vs. the sex repulsion

000

Lichen @somecrustosething.bsky.social · 03/07/2025

prob gonna nickname my tatted scales pattern "liquid smooth" cuz I've been listening to a looot of mitski while workin on it and that's the song moriondo covered on their last tour that was ocean themed

I'm in undergrad, but it doesn't seem to matter the level of school you're in - the graduate level class I checked out for my schools design masters program also had the students using chatgpt to "help" them with their code.

0130

Lichen @somecrustosething.bsky.social · 01/07/2025

I'm in school for design right now and it's SO prevalent. my partner is in industrial design and so many of the people in her cohort use it and chatgpt because the program is already soul-crushing. one of my rendering classes had a unit on ""learning"" to use it (i refused to). it sucks!

Lichen @somecrustosething.bsky.social · 28/06/2025

the lichen self indulgence story has vampires? who woulda thunk (me trying to take a nap earlier and going "what if this world of mine had vampires" woulda thunk)

100

Lichen @somecrustosething.bsky.social · 28/06/2025

makin vampire lady for a story with mags and st and i might have to make a separate story that takes place beforehand where vampire lady goes freak mode with a person that matches her freak in their consenting alone

100

Lichen @somecrustosething.bsky.social · 13/04/2025

(tw: talk about spider) disproportionately worried about the wellbeing of a spider in my bathroom. she's been living underneath the counter ledge for a week or so and tonight I saw her stuck in the tub. I got her to climb on a piece of toilet paper (1)

A sketch page. There is a figure with their arms outstretched in the bottom left corner, the text in the center of the page reading "I'm your beloved 'Sunbird'. The 'Holy Flame' of your mythos."

010

Lichen @somecrustosething.bsky.social · 28/03/2025

i'm realizing it should be neopixels plural. i got a strip of them not just one little lonely guy

000

Lichen @somecrustosething.bsky.social · 28/03/2025

in my "electronics" class (not putting actual title) i'm picking up the code pretty fast but I have 0 encasements for anything. my breadboard and my Arduino and my neopixel are NAKED

i follow perceived rules too closely but i don't actually know the rules anywhere close to their full extent. operating on a limited scope but operating nonetheless

000

Lichen @somecrustosething.bsky.social · 28/03/2025

i need to actually read books on pattern drafting/sewing math™ and not just go "hm yeah i think this cobbling together of my very limited knowledge should work" and trial and error my way through

100

Lichen @somecrustosething.bsky.social · 22/03/2025

i get so excited when someone mentions a half hitch knot. tatting's not even my favorite form of lace. sillyyy

010

Lichen @somecrustosething.bsky.social · 26/02/2025

i should learn the sculpting tool

000

Lichen @somecrustosething.bsky.social · 26/02/2025

i think i don't mind working with individual faces/vertices cuz it has that same repetitive nature as stuff like embroidery. obv wouldn't do any of this for a professional thing
