got sad for a couple months, but still working on getting this done

Nick Austin @someanxiety.bsky.social · 02/04/2026

I just wish someone would at the very least interview me at this point. What’s the point of having a decade of experience if no one will even give you the time of day

It really feels like if you wanna be an animator in the United States right now you’re just sort of fucked, huh

Seeing others get laid off is already horrible, but the despair really hits when it’s a bunch of animators thatre wayyy better than me now in the job market. Cuz I know it just increases the time I’m gonna be cooked for

Bro if I don’t find a job soon I’m about to start a right wing grift and farm the hogs

I guess I fucked myself by specializing in gameplay animation. Starting to wonder how I’m gonna even begin to change careers if I have to

Man, getting laid off in the 4th quarter is so sick. Almost no job opening and I’m totally expecting to not hear back from any apps I’ve sent out until after the new year

Got laid off lmao. So I guess if anyone is looking for an animator, hit me up please

I think you’re arguing about something completely different tbh cuz I never said any of that. The only problem the Dems have is they’re spineless wimps that won’t fight for the American people against the rise of fascism

i mean, it kinda is isnt it? they decided they were gonna run as 2001 republicans with Liz and Dick Cheney and talking about having the most lethal military, and 6 million people stayed home. If they ran on a campaign that was focused on the working class, probably wouldve been different

so Pepin is currently in surgery to be able to pee again, cuz the first time he had the procedure done it was done by a vet that didnt have the specialization, so it wasnt done correctly and it scarred over wrong. Any help at all would really be greatly appreciated. gofund.me/7a12251c

It’s ok lmao these dudes don’t live in reality so whatever they say is more funny to me than anything. It’s when people start complaining about the animation that it starts to sting a little (which like 90% of the time it isn’t even animation)

I’ve had more doorknockers and calls about this election this year than any other before. It’s kinda neat but man imagine if Harris ran a campaign that made people want to vote for her rather than against Trump
