I love my maracas They feel good in my hands Just about have the loose head of one of them adjusted properly thoughts about refitting them still a little worried about the crack still trying to find a suitable spang-a-lang need to come up with serious hearing protection

copper thing hanging on chain link fence looks like a float from a toilet tank #photography #monochrome

A black and white photo of a copper thing hanging on a chain link fence with a highway in the background. It looks like a float from a toilet tank, but made out of copper.

New to me instrument day I've been trying to get a set of these for quite some time They need a little work, but they are lovely Venezuelan style #maracas #photography #monochrome

A black and white photo of a pair of maracas laying on a pashmina shawl. The maracas are made from a gourd, filled with seeds and mounted to a wooden handle. They are excellent.

So I've been dealing with files, and bad filenames, and general disorganization. It is slow and tedious, but seeing progress is nice.

great challenge requires great sacrifice otherwise even greater sacrifice becomes new normal? there seems to be little real hope for change "after", only the immediacy of punishment. There is no safety net. I think some things could be said about societies thoughts about comfort.
