SolumnMushroom @solumnmushroom.bsky.social · 30/09/2026With a final playtime of 119.5 hours according to Steam, I have rolled credits on Persona 5 Royal. I’ll give more thoughts on it after I’ve given it some time to rotate in my brain 011

SolumnMushroom @solumnmushroom.bsky.social · 09/09/2026This morning’s Direct will determine how high in my priority list buying a bigger SD card for my Switch is. Currently, my 256GB one is completely full, so we’ll see 110
SolumnMushroom @solumnmushroom.bsky.social · 08/09/2026From a technical standpoint, the OoT remake is very impressive. The fact the Zelda team was able to get that level of fidelity running a 60 FPS near-consistently is a testament to their tech art prowess, nobody’s doing that like Nintendo, likely due to how weak their hardware has been in the past. 110
SolumnMushroom @solumnmushroom.bsky.social · 04/09/2026I can’t wait for it to be revealed in either Kingdom Hearts 6, or some cancelled-before-it-launched-in-the-US gatcha mobile game that the Master of Masters was Sora the entire time 000
SolumnMushroom @solumnmushroom.bsky.social · 22/08/2026I saw that Portal 2: Community Edition was open to the public for testing, so I played through to incinerator. It’s not bad! I’m less of a graphics snob than I thought I was, so the lighting changes aren’t groundbreaking for me, but the load time improvements are killer. 100
SolumnMushroom @solumnmushroom.bsky.social · 19/08/2026Two options here: Either I’m camping for a year with anthropomorphic, mostly chill animal people (if we count mobile games), or I’m spending a year in Japan while a bunch of cognitive mumbo-jumbo happens in the background. Not a bad set of choices tbh 000
SolumnMushroom @solumnmushroom.bsky.social · 12/08/2026Nice to know that nearly 13,000 people being in favor of making this optional wasn’t enough to change course. If I do return to streaming, I will be turning this “feature” off. Generative AI doesn’t vibe with me or my audience, plain and simple. 010
SolumnMushroom @solumnmushroom.bsky.social · 01/08/2026Thank you for your continued diligent reporting Zach. Here is the UserVoice thread I left my opinion on: twitch.uservoice.com/forums/92338... 151
SolumnMushroom @solumnmushroom.bsky.social · 31/07/2026I don’t want to be “engaged with” by a company. I prefer digital games, and even I see this as a terrible decision. Like I posted before, $1,000+ for a box that maybe plays your digital PS5 games a bit better at launch just isn’t compelling… 010
SolumnMushroom @solumnmushroom.bsky.social · 24/07/2026Actually, I think I’ll be doing this tomorrow 000

SolumnMushroom @solumnmushroom.bsky.social · 23/07/2026Okay, but what if I went live this evening with Splatoon Raiders… And, perhaps, friends? We’ll see. I’ve already played past the first dungeon-type level, so you’ll have to go elsewhere to see the beginning of the game 000
SolumnMushroom @solumnmushroom.bsky.social · 15/07/2026Got some work-related news today that has me super anxious. If you’ve got any positive vibes to spare, I wouldn’t say no 100
SolumnMushroom @solumnmushroom.bsky.social · 14/07/2026Oranges, but said like phalanges. Is this anything? 000
SolumnMushroom @solumnmushroom.bsky.social · 04/07/2026Heard there was a Raiders demo, but it’s kiosk-only? Hate that. I understand it for Switch 1 games to avoid datamining, but no exploit has been made public for Switch 2 yet, so that concern doesn’t really apply. If you have a demo, why not put it on the eShop? 000
SolumnMushroom @solumnmushroom.bsky.social · 01/07/2026No physical PS6 media is certainly a choice™️ On that note, why are we moving forward with the PS6 in the first place? There’s still PS4 games coming out, the 5 doesn’t feel that old yet and tech isn’t advancing as fast as it used to… 100
SolumnMushroom @solumnmushroom.bsky.social · 30/06/2026Really looking forward to Raiders after that Direct. It *might* even be the game that brings me back to streaming… 010
SolumnMushroom @solumnmushroom.bsky.social · 27/06/2026Watching @mrnebula27.bsky.social play Portal for the first time, and it’s fascinating watching the learning process. As someone who speedran the game, I will never get tired of watching people’s first Portal playthroughs. What a fantastic video game. 020
SolumnMushroom @solumnmushroom.bsky.social · 24/06/2026Why would you put up preorders for a game and not make the file size public, especially if your “physical” edition at launch is a code in a box? Feels kinda shady ngl 110
SolumnMushroom @solumnmushroom.bsky.social · 14/06/2026I am cautiously optimistic about this. There’s a number of pitfalls that could ruin this effort, but I want to have faith in the project. Maybe I should get that idea I’ve had bouncing around in my head off the ground… 120
SolumnMushroom @solumnmushroom.bsky.social · 09/06/2026Genuinely curious why this took so long. The Switch 1 port was already released, and I thought the whole point of Bedrock was to make Minecraft much easier and quicker to port… 010
SolumnMushroom @solumnmushroom.bsky.social · 04/06/2026Looks like Selach has been introducing Feldspar to some modern music! Can't blame Feldspar for singing along, Abracadabra's a banger. Thank you for working with me! Please commission Gert, it's Pride Month. Support trans artists! 010
SolumnMushroom @solumnmushroom.bsky.social · 01/06/2026It feels like every year Pride Month is “the most important it’s ever been”, and it’s hard to deny that again this year. SolumnMushroom @solumnmushroom.bsky.social · 05/05/2026I’ve noticed that I type much faster on an actual keyboard than on my phone keyboard. It’s almost certainly the tactile feedback of the physical keys, but I wonder if there’s a way I can improve my screen-typing speed… 020
SolumnMushroom @solumnmushroom.bsky.social · 02/05/2026Finally putting some clothes on my guys! Varanus works as a personal trainer, but the typical pull-over design for a tank top wouldn’t work with his wings, so he wears a sleeveless button-up with a magnetic name tag while working. SolumnMushroom @solumnmushroom.bsky.social · 25/04/2026Why do printers still suck to use? SolumnMushroom @solumnmushroom.bsky.social · 11/04/2026I feel like addressing the lack of streams lately. The TL;DR is that I am now employed with a full-time job. SolumnMushroom @solumnmushroom.bsky.social · 09/04/2026Do people not realize Nintendo Directs are quarterly? Like, we’re getting one in June, like we do every year. The last one was a Partner Showcase because the internal dev teams didn’t have much of anything ready to be shown yet. 120
