I forgot the contents of the fics I wrote for Dreadtober and I'm just reading one of my entries and giggling at the dialogue between Solas and Rook. Solas being a bitch to Rook will never not be funny

At this rate, I'm just gonna end up posting all my nsfw on Squidge->AO3 bc things keep on getting more restrictive on here, sighhh. Feels like only sites hosted by fellow fans like AO3 and Squidge are safe

Always regret looking at yt comments, especially on delicate topics, bc I was watching a video about one of the worst concentration camps in WW2 and there were a bunch of nazis in the comments eguguhgugughg

All these attempts at internet safety for kids by governments are so stupid. They could be developing tools to give to parents to enforce internet safety for minors, but god forbid we make parents actually parent their child, lets make internet safety a problem for literally everyone else instead

Me looking at writers who've written like 100 fics for their ship and going 'what if that was me' despite the fact the most fic I've ever written for a ship has been 18 (and yet.......... what if that was me)

Just came up with an extra tasty (and evil) idea for Dreadtober

So many Solrook longfics and I'm out here like 'if I write more than 50k I spontaneously combust'

Making good progress on Dreadtober. Five fics so far. I might make some art/comics for it too 🤔 I've got a ton of ideas

020

solrookera.bsky.social @solrookera.bsky.social · 08/07/2025

Already smashed out three fics for Dreadtober. 👍 The ideal would be making something for every day, but I doubt I'll manage it

Finished two Solrook fics :) Have to edit them :(

Arcane is really fighting for the title of 'worst discourse I've ever seen in a fandom'. Current holder is DA, but the fact I can't even look up porn without encountering 80 posts of top/bottom discourse is closing the gap fast

000

solrookera.bsky.social @solrookera.bsky.social · 01/07/2025

Actual pain when you think you've written a lot, then you check the word count and it's only like 700 words or something.

020

solrookera.bsky.social @solrookera.bsky.social · 24/06/2025

Me: I should write Solas getting his dick wet more Me for some reason: starts writing a horrible depressing fic about the Veil coming down and everyone dying instead??

Watched a horror movie and satan showed up and was hot. I mean, the whole movie was a horrifying religious mind fuck, but damn, if satan looked like Daniel Malik I think we'd have an epidemic of people selling their soul

My charms actually reached me this time! Got some pins too. The Solrook pinboard is looking much less bare.

solrookera.bsky.social @solrookera.bsky.social · 08/06/2025

Almost feel bad that people were thanking me for my fluff and then I went and posted dead dove horror Solas/Rook lmao. I post a lot of cutsey stuff, but tbh a ton of my media consumption is actually horror

My typing cursor keeps on turning white while in text editing boxes and it's annoying the piss out of me. It's such a pain in the ass to edit fics when I can't see my cursor properly

Lil nsfw comic I made for Solrook week, featuring Solassan and Solrooklassan.

0247

solrookera.bsky.social @solrookera.bsky.social · 05/05/2025

ANYWAY, random rumbling noises aside, I finished a sixth piece for Solrook week. Looks like 'Regret' is the only one I won't have made something for sighhhh. I have a comic outlined and everything, but it'd take too long to finish.

020

solrookera.bsky.social @solrookera.bsky.social · 05/05/2025

Random rumbling in the middle of the night. 😕 I thought it might be an earthquake since we get mini ones sometimes, but there wasn't enough shaking for that.

000

solrookera.bsky.social @solrookera.bsky.social · 01/05/2025

Fifth piece of art for Solrook week dooooone!! I was only meant to do flat colours on it, but I ended up colouring fully. Whoops

Absolutely insane that there are now spam bots going around accusing people of using AI on AO3. Considering it came right after AI bros got called out for scraping AO3, I'm guessing they got salty and decided to make bots to throw AI accusations to upset ppl

110

solrookera.bsky.social @solrookera.bsky.social · 30/04/2025

Think I'll manage to finish one more piece before Solrook week. I wanted to make something for all the days, but if I only do 5, that's not too bad

010

solrookera.bsky.social @solrookera.bsky.social · 30/04/2025

Funny little detail: while getting prepped for surgery, my anaesthetist put on some music for me. I casually mentioned that I liked My Chemical Romance as a kid and they started a playlist, so I fell unconscious to the sound of Gerard Way screaming 'SO LONG AND GOOD NIGHT'. Impeccable timing lol

210

solrookera.bsky.social @solrookera.bsky.social · 28/04/2025

Update: surgery went well!! Now I'm just vegging in bed.

Solrook week taking place when I got so much going on sigh. I'm getting ready for (fairly minor) surgery this month. I'll try my best to make some content for it though!! Every prompt, if I can manage it.

Spent the last few hours fighting for my life constructing an Ikea desk and chair. Just needed a tiny work desk and I thought, hey, it can't be that hard, and then it took me three hours to finish everything and now my back hurts.

Found an old USB with a bunch of stuff from high school and I was enthusiastic for about 5 secs until I remembered how angsty and cringe I was at that age. Saw a file titled 'I hate everyone' and I'm not clicking into that, I know I'll melt into a puddle of pure cringe

The other day I got some Solrook drawings printed at a place near me and I went to collect my order, but the lady couldn't find it, so she went to reprint them for me. But bc they were freshly printed, my homoerotic elf art was sitting in plain view of everyone waiting for like 5 mins 🥲
