Not Star Citizen related this time! Made an amazing Pumpkin Nutella Loaf using local sugar pumpkins and .... wow. I don't bake that often, so it's wonderful to prepare something that is sweet and delicious! Check the Alt Text for the recipe for Norsetech's Stellar Pumpkin Loaf(tm)

Norsetech's Stellar Pumpkin Nutella Loaf

Ingredients:
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 1/2 teaspoons nutmeg
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 1/2 cup pumpkin (don't use pumpkin pie filling, it's pre-seasoned)
- Note: If you're using real pumpkin for this, don't add water
- 2 large eggs
- 1 stick butter (for coating pans)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon rum extract (or 2 tablespoons of your favorite dark rum)
- 6-10 tablespoons Nutella

Recipe:

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Coat 2 8x4 bread pans with butter. Set aside.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Set aside.
3. Use a blender to mix pumpkin, water (if needed), and extracts until smooth.
4. In a large bowl, gently whisk together sugar and eggs. Add pumpkin mix and oil, whisk until smooth and combined.
5. Slowly stir in the flour mixture. You don't want it clumpy -- look for the same consistency as thick pancake batter.
6. Pour the batter into the mini loaf pans, making sure batter is evenly divided. Drop 2 heaping tablespoons of Nutella onto each loaf pan. Swirl the Nutella into the pumpkin batter with a knife. Place the loaf pans onto a baking sheet and place in the oven.
7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
8. Place the loaf pans on a wire rack. Cool for 30 minutes in the pan and then carefully remove the loaves. Cool completely before slicing.
- Note: It took me almost an hour for the loaf pans to cool enough to get the bread out -- and even then the nutella stuck to the sides. If the loaf crumbles a little, you can do what I did and paste the bottoms together with Nutella, wrap it in plastic wrap, and put them in a clean loaf pan overnight to settle.

#StarCitizen Moments [006/150] The Jurassic Park-like atmosphere of Lazarus facility added to the immersive height of anxiety and careful maneuvering. While we didn't have a keycard for the egg, I did make out with the coveted Picoball. (Photo was hastily done, but it works)

Slipshod, mismatched armor does little to showcase the awesome picoball -- a Cast Away reference of a volleyball mocked up as a penguin named Pico, which is a reference to Wilson.

Star Citizen Moments [004/150] While solo looting an OLP, a random solo player walked up to me, invited me into their party, and wordlessly worked with me to fire the laser -- a feat I had yet to accomplish until this moment. This moment reminds me that not all people are vitriolic children.

The orbital laser platform preforms the "Imma firin' mah lazer" skit from the late 2000 decade. Hilarity ensues.
