They could have maintained the old ability, or they could have Keyworded the ability exactly as it was, or they could have errata'd it, but they chose the worst of all options. 110

WotC should have seen the writing on the wall, and should have just committed one way or the other. Either way would have been fine, but I cannot abide their limpwristed handling of werewolves in MID/VOW 140
