I came online only to say that, as an author, I'm utterly disappointed in writers who act superior and put other authors down. What are you trying to achieve by doing this?

Vol 1 "Love in the Binary World" ebook is live & paperback is about to be released soon. It means I can finally spend some time editing Vol 2. I finished writing it in mid-April 2026, but because I was preparing Vol 1 for release, I haven't been able to focus on it fully. +

So,regarding my proof copy: everything inside the book was printed fine, it's just a cover that needs small changes. Waiting for updated files from the artist🙂 Then I'll order proof copy again & recheck everything. And then, hopefully, no more changes will be needed&will be able to set release date😀

This page is from my proof copy (paperback with "Not for Resale" text printed on the front, back&spine). It's a special version that authors can order before publication so they can review how everything was printed, check for errors & see exactly what readers will receive🙂

I'm an adult (35+), writing for adults, and my OCs are adults as well: Mika Anders (30) Aleksandr Modolanov (33) "Love in the Binary World" will make you laugh but also cry. I’m not afraid to touch on difficult & uncomfortable (even for myself) topics: www.amazon.com/dp/B0H4MB67QL

Self-publishing is tough. You do 20 roles in 1. Things aren't always going the way you planned. Impostor syndrome and frustration often knock on the door😞 BUT if there's one huge plus, it's the fact that you can include whatever you want in your book 😊

Trigger warnings in books: x.com/jolandiiQ/st... I wasn’t quite sure how to handle this (even discussed it with my editor)-in the end I did put TW, but that part about “spoilers” is true. I’m an adult writing for adults&I’m not afraid to touch on difficult&uncomfortable(even for myself)topics.

Readers want creators to create, but at the same time some try to limit their creativity. If you don't like what you're reading, you can stop at any time. No one forces you to continue. It's entirely up to you how much you choose to engage with the story. Don't harass creators.

Those companies don’t care at all. All that matters for them is to have readers coming back, use their service and spend more money.

Sol | BL & MM Romance Author🔞 @solmoonbeam.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

but this info is for Amazon only (readers aren’t informed about it☹️) Those e(books) have so many reviews and they cost more than my story where I paid for the cover + editing services. For me as a newbie self-published author it’s disheartening honestly 😔

Regarding discussion on X about Ridi having AI covers: Unfortunately the same happens on Amazon-there are so many e(books) with GenAI covers/short promo clips😔 and,if I’m not mistaken, writes only need to state if AI/GenAI was used in their works +
