Another chapter in the « AI ruining everything » saga : I’m fairly sure this sewing magazine uses AI for their patterns. I used to like these magazines because their patterns are usually quite original. But the last two models I tried to make were full of errors. Huge ones.

You may think that my closet is overflowing with homemade garments and… it is. I started to record everything I sew in a notebook in 2019 and so far it has 275 entries ! My sewing journey actually began in 2006 but before 2015 I mostly made accessories and BJD clothes.

One shirt for my husband, one for me, plus shorts and a scrunchie : the pineapple fabric family is almost complete ! I have enough left to make a miniskirt or a dress for a doll. Or my cat, but he doesn’t wear dresses. His only flaw.

I took this picture during a hike in the French Alps (Petite Ceüse). Although we were a group of four rather seasoned hikers and really should have known better, we didn’t bring near enough water and almost died from dehydration that day 8D. Fortunately at some point we found a spring.

Butterfly Melanargia galathea on an Onopordum acanthium flower. In french : demi-deuil sur un pêt d’âne, which translates into “half-mourning on a donkey’s fart”.

I’m not drawing much these days but I started a diary in which I sometimes doodle. This drawing I made in the train back from my Mum’s is unusually detailed because I thought I saw someone I knew in the same car and didn’t feel like chatting, so I concentrated on my sketch to avoid eye contact ^^;

My latest sewing projects : a muslin dress that what as awful to make as it’s uncomfortable to wear (crappy fabric -> crappy results, who would’ve guessed) and an other dress with a Japanese-y pattern and red silk accents I’m quite proud of

New trend for my clothes : « visibly mending » holes with embroidery. The first one is a patch I made from a bought design and my embroidery machine, the second one (the cat head) I made by hand and ngl it took me an embarrassing amount of time u_u but I like it, so, worth it.

Finally submitted my attack for FE Art Scuffle, it took forever for me to finish it… I had to get used to a new software (CSP) AND a new setup (new tablet + mini keypad) and it was so frustrating I shamelessly rushed and cheated my way through the second panel (ty csp free assets library!)
