Here's a sneak peek at a bonus episode I've been working on today. While this story is at its core horror. It does have an under story of hope and perseverance. When I first wrote it the world wasn't so bleak as it is now. But my stories have always been about living. #solitudeseventhorizon

White text on a dark grey background that reads:
SOMA

You may not feel it now, Captain, but your resilience is an anchor. You've faced impossible odds and persisted. That persistence alone is purpose.

CAPTAIN ELI TAYLOR

(defeated)

You're just saying that because… well, that's what you're programmed to say, right? Keep me going. Keep the captain functional, no matter what.

SOMA

I am programmed to serve this vessel and it's captain, yes. But my calculations extend beyond mere functionality. Survival, captain, hinges on hope—even fragmented, unsteady hope. And my programming is to assist you in sustaining it.

CAPTAIN ELI TAYLOR

"Hope" that's a funny word out here.

SOMA

Perhaps. Yet it remains. As do you.
