I actually finished watching #FionnaandCake season 2, and I'm freaking out (not only is it now my favourite cartoon) but a song I wrote 2 years ago for #TasteOfTerror has the SAME verse and riff. The line "Trial and error joy and terror" what a coincidence omfg the scare I got it's only that one 😭

I've also been watching #AdventureTime. I've come to realise just how similar it is to my own #gamedev project: The Buddhist worldview, the crazy worldbuilding, the metaphorical relationships, the stakes... When I said I was inspired in 2010's cartoons I really meant it, lol

That's not it. I've been drawing it sooooooooo much. Just take it as proof that I'm still on it... David also is almost done with the phone menu. We added more than we expected. I don't know if anyone still remembers this, but I'll try my best to reintroduce #TasteOfTerror to the world. #gamedev

Been thinking a lot. Life's been busy, lots of things happened, but I can't get Taste of Terror off my mind. I have so many ideas, just so little time nowadays. I decided to just take it slowly, that's better than abandoning the project, that would kill me. I've been drawing a lot during commutes

The world would be so much better if only people focused on themselves, instead of focusing on tearing others down..

It was only one day, but it was already terrifying. We were fully incommunicated, unable to call at all. Many got stuck in trains, elevators and this is how my local supermarket looked. Plain out of an apocalypse film. We didn't know anything at all about what was going on. We thought the worst.

How desensitised people are is crazy. It's so common to see people laugh at someone's tragedy, like getting paralysed or dying. Knowing that my death or accident would probably be a cause of laughter scares me so much I can't even put it into words.

On some side news I know I've been absent a little. I haven't stopped creating but life has been difficult enough lately. It'll take me a little to bounce back. It's too much as of now, but know I will.

I thought we took more pictures 😭 Me and some of the team visited the Videogame museum in Málaga! It was a coincidence that we happened to be hanging out and then stumble on the museum I still can't believe it it was so fun I got to play the first game ever, some rare ones + learn a lot of history

Some progress on a practice piece :) It's not common for me to post realism but some ppl seem to think I'm utterly inept just cause I choose to draw cartoons. I didn't graduate fine arts and illustration for nothing. #digitalart #realism #thelastofus

I'm trying out Clip Studio Paint cause apparently ibis Paint isn't "professional" (I've been using it since it came out). For now CSP is too laggy for me.

“Get a job” I have one… Spending at least 8 hours each day trying to make my body and bowels work. Then at least another 2 to try and prevent my mobility getting worse. Then several more on other things related to my disabilities. And unlike you, I don’t have weekends off.

So my game has a "karma" system, which depending on yours, you get different outcomes. But I'm Buddhist and I hate when we misinterpret karma and that's not how it works, so I kinda need a different name. How about ethos, favor, or maybe echo, because what you give you receive back? #GameDev

I haven't been that active. I apologise, but I've been very sick. Please, even if you're excited don't come or bring your sick children to events. Some of us have really weak immune systems. I exercise often, eat healthy, and check-up often, but I still get very sick easily, just have some empathy.

Something stupid I realised when a great person does 1 little bad thing they get hated, but when a horrible person does 1 small good thing they get glorified. Why??? Even applies to character narrative design too

Being and indie dev is hard. Some days it feels like progress is invisible (especially when you can't "prove it" or post progress on social media), but every line of code, every brushstroke, every note counts. Keep going. Every day is one day closer to release ✨ #IndieGame #GameDev

Fun thing I did to make consumable "stress balls" make more sense to players was to play an animation where the character squeezes the ball so hard it breaks (once, just for context) then sanity is healed. It was my programmer's idea I thought it was awesome #gamedev #indiegame

Adventurer thinking "Marketing the game will be easy..."
Reality is them trying to say "Pls wishl..." while facing a boss fight

If you share images of what to do during a weather-related emergency, share that advice with blind and low-vision users, too. Add alt text. The alt text should include the text in the image, rather than just a vague description, so people aren't missing out on vital information.

fun fact: if you draw fanart for a game within the first week of any sort of major PR event for it (announcement, demo, release etc) there is a 99% chance the entire dev team on the game knows who you are because they are doing nothing but reposting fanart in slack

What’s a small mechanic, detail, or design choice in a game that made you pause and think: "these devs really cared" For me, it’s things like reassuring messages when an accessibility feature is prompted, and characters reactions to your actions or the environment's #GameDev #IndieDev #GameDesign

It IS better if you finish that project But it's great if you create at all Sometimes you must push yourself if you want to get it done But sometimes forcing it will just overexert and exhaust you If it doesn't need to be done now Then come back tomorrow If it keeps you creating Open a new canvas

We need better blind characters 🙏🏼 The kind that can be potentially someone's favourite and still relatable. Not the kind you feel pity for, or the background ones. Toph is my favourite one. She's my biggest inspiration for Cookie, and she also helped me feel better with my partial blindness 💛
