Wanted to give a quick update, since it's been a few weeks and I'm typing. I'm doing okay. Been occupying my time elsewhere. I haven't stopped making content; it's just slowed down exponentially. New ideas come up, though, and if it's worth it, I'll make it. Just gotta fight a hectic schedule now.

The same applies to story ideas. A story or render can sound good for one to two days, but if it doesn't cross your mind days, weeks, even months and years afterwards, it's most likely not a good idea. Not worth anybody's time. The faster an artist realizes this, the better everyone turns out.

I feel this is a good art method. I browse my feeds and it's back-to-back bangers. I've been feeling inspired lately, but these posts make me want to try my own hand at those ideas. However, the next day, I don't feel that urge; even if I do make it, it never feels the same. That's how art is made

This is a very exciting moment! We have Galatea in a wonderful style, done by the incredible ASFR animator Still Darling on YT. They do great work; Check it out here! Supporting them is super easy too! Check out the vid below! #asfr #mannequintf #tfsky #statuetf www.youtube.com/watch?v=syI8...

OOoooo! She's so pretty! This is the first time I've ever had one of my characters done by another artist and it makes me giddy. Still did a phenomenal job with her. She's featured in the Patreon credits at the start of the video, along with other incredible people in the community.

Here you can find the newest upload, which features Galatea in a list of other Patreon supporters (for those in tune to the ASFR community, you might recognize some of these other names!) All for the right reason, Still Darling is a great artist, and has one of the best Patreon deals you could ask: 1 USD and you get a character drawn in the credits! It's certainly a deal I took!

Ofc, I had to try my hand at making the pose! Funny enough, I had a difficult time! However, I think I got it pretty close! Although, something feels missing...

Another interesting development is a new character: Dyna, an explosives expert on the mercenary team all the characters are on. I even made a Daz model for an upcoming story (since her look is super simple), but I may need to work on it a bit more. #asfr #statuetf #oc #petrification #tfsky

Dyna standing to the left of Hunter, the main character of the series. She plays as another potential love interest for the lonely and love-dumb Hunter, but does not find him interesting in the slightest. She's a pretty, fun-loving woman, but isn't flipping head-over-heels for her strange "coworker."

While I won't go into too many details, this is Dyna in her vacation outfit. In the next story with these characters, that's what they'll be doing.

A weird experiment for me, but I tried my hand at a Dyna Daz Model too. It's pretty accurate to what I had in mind, but something about it feels wrong to me... Whether it be the hat, the face, the hair, or all the above. Regardless, there's decent progress done here.

I will not elaborate too much, but it wouldn't be a Soleoftheextrastone post without some ASFR thrown in there. Dyna is a mannequin now, but the same issues arise from the head, but this is a *solid* start

One of my more interesting projects throughout my career has been a space opera. 2 stories are out, with more to follow, both ASFR and feet-wise. Here's some WIPs from over the past year to get the vibes of this sci-fi adventure down, mainly Hunter, the MC #asfr #statuetf #oc #petrification #tfsky

The main characters of this space opera: Commander Alphra (left) and Lieutenant Hunter (right). They're space mercenaries traveling from planet to planet, with Hunter being the bumbling, shy engineer of the group. In both Protocol Carbon Queen (2021) and Operation: Split Runner (2025), Hunter struggles with love and desires for his commander, Alphra. They're close, so much so they tend to refer by their real names, but Hunter struggles with a burning crush on his commander. The series will be him overcoming such things, and learning to manage his ASFR and Foot Fetishes.

Andddd a wardrobe change will always be a good way to learn and grow. As of right now, the story featuring this wardrobe change is far from done, but the seeds for this outfit change will be laid in future stories.

Ofc, can't be a Soleoftheextrastone post without some ASFR in here, especially for a barefoot cutie like Hunter. Threw in Alphra in there for some extra flavor; besides, it's not her first time frozen, won't be her last.

Finally, a piece I made for Protocol Carbon Queen: the story to start it all. I made it as a fun one-off, but the characters and setting were always rife for continuation. For those who haven't read the story, Alphra is set to meet up with another group for negotiations, but will have to travel through dangerous territory. Hunter, being an engineer and inventor, uses a new material to carbon-freeze Alphra and pose her as "art" to evade capture. However, the journey would turn out to be a dream scenario for the young man, as he gets to admire his frozen friend.

Nothing quite compares to ASFR in comics... Some of the best ASFR out there is in those panels. Honestly, I pull my hair out with how good they can be sometimes. Here are a few great ones. #asfr #petrificationtf #statuetf #tfsky

Secret Agent Deadpool #2. (Literally could not compare anything to this. We don't even know the woman, we don't even see the petrification happen, and we don't really know what happened to her afterwards. Honestly though, that simplicity makes it beautiful and there's probably no story that anyone could tell that would feel scratch the itch this DiD creates)

Elementals #4. You cannot tell me an ASFRist made this series.

Wonder Woman #121. This happens a lot actually. Petrification: Themyscira kryptonite

Green Lantern #68 (Kyle Rayner run). A classic panel in ASFR comics. Roller skater girl gets suddenly frozen by Mr. Freeze of all people. It's a tragedy she gets shattered (which I won't show because I do find it quite sad).

I know this may come as disappointing news. This is my choice, these are my compromises, and it's not the first time I've been seen only through my content. Went 3 years strong beforehand. Thank you all for understanding. Hope to see y'all around. ❤️

I'm sorry if this all feels out of nowhere; I was basically hit with cold water too. It's always important to moderate things; too much of a thing can hurt in ways you may not register. It was wonderful to interact with everyone and even meet some icons of the community, but it's time to step back.

SoleoftheExtraStone @soleofthestone.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Note, I will not stop making things for Soleofthestone, but I will mainly be present through the works I publish here on BlueSky and Deviantart, and the gaps in content may widen again. I have been following this new approach for a few days already, and I'm feeling better because of it.

SoleoftheExtraStone @soleofthestone.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

I haven't made the announcement public yet, but it's already obvious to some people. I've stepped away from Discord. It was amazing to have a deeper connection with the community, but constant access to discussions and posts was negatively affecting me in multiple ways.

While the series is targeted for foot fetishists, I do have some ASFR specific stuff planned (I couldn't resist it; she's one of my favorites)

While it's not a particular idea, I wonder if it'd be interesting to have controlled petrification be the end-goal (You pick the pose/material/etc.), with the petrifications in-between impeding your progress (especially if you have to respawn to the last checkpoint). I like these other ideas tho.
