v1.5 will replace the scattered scalar inputs (Number, Text, Date, Bool) with the new combined Value Input node, with a type switch and built-in formatter/units dropdown. Value Input, List Input, and Table Input now get a cool little //// stripe in the Add Menu to signify that they're multi-type.

the [RxC Chip] objects at the bottom of the Input nodes already brought up the table editors, but since that's such a crucial part of user workflow, I decided to slap a big Edit Table button up top on those so they're impossible to miss. Aren't I thoughtful?

Intelligent CARD VIEW for Frames is coming for 1.5!! much better than trying to use a spreadsheet grid on your phone!! it automatically wraps grid data into cards based on type , column order, format, and string length.

1.5 won't have a ton in the way of user-facing changes. I am mainly bugfixing and consistencymaxxing. rewriting the decision tree and specs for coherency. lots of minor bugs are falling out that way.

The app has been bumped to 1.4.2 to resolve compatibility issues with imported Obsidian Note frame column types. The plugin has been upgraded to allow you to choose your accent color, just like in Solenoid. The plugin theme now works on the mobile Obsidian app.

Simple example. Obsidian lets you author *generic* lists, but Solenoid Properties plugin extends those choices to all Solenoid socket types. Here I author a Date list, import into Solenoid, and use INDEX + DAYS to get the time span between em.

I can't believe I didn't have this idea before releasing 1.4. Put parts of Solenoid inside an Obsidian plugin!! The Solenoid Properties plugin will let you build Solenoid objects (lists, tables, frames, cubes) directly inside Obsidian properties view for later piping into Solenoid!

Cleaned up the Frame Input's column headers. Formula-based column activation is now folded into the type-cycle button, and the Format Controller dropdowns are now contained inside the paintbrush icon dropdown instead of multiple header rows. Much better!

The upcoming Group Cost Settle node takes a complex transaction list where any set of people can owe another set of people for a given purchase, and settles exactly who owes who + the final amount paid by each person. Very helpful!

Here's the Budget Allocator node + seed graph in action. You give it min & max for each category, assign importance weights, and give a budget topline and the formula tells you how much to spend on each category in line with what you value!

Planned node for 1.4: the Budget Allocator node takes prices and importance weights from a table and tells you how much money to allocate to each item. 3 modes: 1. use the whole budget 2. minimize spend proportionally 3. buy at least 1 of everything, extra $ -> most-important until out of budget

Another new minor QoL feature coming in 1.3: pretty wrap! Many text surface will now have pretty text wrap, making it so that there are no lines with one single word. This should be especially nice for Note body text.

new QoL feature coming in 1.3: the Inspector panel now gives a detailed glance at all the information and syntax for one particular node. It pulls from the existing Reference Overlay catalog entry & includes any Frame-Preview syntactical bits (tells you what data and columns it's expecting).
