I got @peculiarityshop.bsky.social mail this week! I waffled on the tanzanite cluster for HOURS before I finally went back and snagged it, and the silver pinky ring (which I've been calling "puffy Greek key-ish") was my most recent claim. I also got some kyanite studs.

To combat the depression that comes from simply existing, my ADHD brain has fixated on a new art form. This is kinusaiga. Not too bad for my first try! I have many ideas for improving the next one. (I blame @allisondurno.bsky.social for this, in part. 💜)

I got to see two of my oldest friends today. We're all a bit older and more worn than we were in high school, but the friendship is as strong as ever.

I'm on a road trip and it's disrespectfully bright out here--but that is affording me the opportunity to be bewitched once again by the aurora opal ring I got from @peculiarityshop.bsky.social - I got it weeks ago and still can't stop staring at it. Good thing I'm not the one driving.

I looooooooooove it, thank you for the inspiration! Purple inks with a good shimmer are a particular interest, and it also tickles me that it's the opposite of my favorite ink (Free Spirit, by Robert Oster--a Vanness exclusive) which is a vibrant blue with purple shimmer.

The world is scary right now and it all feels kind of pointless, so I went to sit by the lake and watch the geese chase each other around for a while. The guy on the bench down the path blasting Thunderstruck from his Bluetooth radio kind of ruins the peaceful nature, but I had to laugh anyway.

My mom occasionally sends me big boxes of lemons from her yard in Arizona. Today's batch took two hours to zest and juice. 2 1/2 cups of zest and 8 cups of juice (frozen in 2tbsp cubes) later, the whole house smells of lemons.
