I haven't talked about my music on here much, but I make music! This is my favorite song I've uploaded, and I'm hoping to upload a new album relatively soon. It's also up on bandcamp under the same name, if you prefer youtu.be/Hh3DMWjFUuM?...

A lot of websites still have games you don't need to download, most are just html instead of flash

030

Ruby May @solarpellets.bsky.social · 03/05/2026

Except far more expensive and far lower quality games

010

Ruby May @solarpellets.bsky.social · 13/04/2026

It better be at least $70 or I'm not buying

They create. Capitalists gave the terms "blogger" "vlogger" "YouTuber" whatever a negative connotation. They're creators.

010

Ruby May @solarpellets.bsky.social · 30/03/2026

You're genuinely just not looking for music. There's a lot of incredible and unique music coming out constantly recently, and it's not even hard to find.

Ruby May @solarpellets.bsky.social · 28/03/2026

I think you misunderstand. I'm fine with a game running poorly, I love Lost Skies and that game is the least optimized piece of software in existence. But when a trillion dollar company is putting in bare minimum effort into a product I'm putting that much money into, it's a problem.

000

Ruby May @solarpellets.bsky.social · 28/03/2026

if a game frequently dropping to 20 fps on the hardware it was made for is good optimization to you, you're insane. You say you hate to defend a company as if you're not trying to defend the shitty practices of a company that sells $40 games for $70 and sold a "game" that should've been free for $10

000

Ruby May @solarpellets.bsky.social · 28/03/2026

I'm talking about the graphical and performance upgrades. Not only should a lot of them been on the switch 1 to begin with if Nintendo had attempted more than the bare minimum of optimization, but charging money to just be able to use your hardware better is absurd.

Ruby May @solarpellets.bsky.social · 24/03/2026

It's not that it's not free DLC, it's that most of what they add *should* be free, and the stuff that makes sense to pay for shouldn't be locked to buying an entire console. And the price is absurd, obviously, like with all things Nintendo.

Yeah, one can spawn on the tower in the Taurus demon arena! I found it by chance a while back

Ruby May @solarpellets.bsky.social · 19/03/2026

You gotta get one to kill the Taurus demon! Or at least get them to fight :p

Almost two years ago, I posted a YouTube video titled "Unremarkable and Odd Places in Dark Souls." I haven't exactly stopped playing Dark Souls since then, and I've found many more spots that I want to include in a follow up to that video, and I want to know about weird little spots you think of!

I couldn't find actual pictures of the characters in the game, so I just found a "villager maker" thingy online and used that lol They do have the same features, at least as close as I could get it with the thing I used.

When I was about 16 years old, I started playing Animal Crossing for the first time. I made a character that was approximately how I thought I looked, pre transition. That made me super uncomfy, so I transitioned my character 4 YEARS before realizing I was trans. I transitioned exactly the same way.

It's not that you can't enjoy the movie, it's that the movie comes exclusively from corporate greed and could've actually been good instead of just dumb fun or whatever.

From the little I've seen, you do look great :3c

You realize the only reason a company would choose to follow dei is for public favor, right? They're corporations, not people, don't root for the ones who care only about your money, the ones who put us in this mess in the first place. Dissolve corporations, don't fix them.

Super Mario 64 is a 2nd person game. It's not 3rd person because the pov isn't outside of the story, it's contextualized as someone watching the news, but it's not first person because you're not controlling the pov character.
