I've already shared this once, It's mostly mmo's or rpg's, arena shooters, investigation horror, sandbox (like minecraft), survival open world builders, maybe racing it really depends on the game. It ends up being grinding games most of the time, and there are a lot of games outside these genres.

I know, but I was trying to grind for an item myself at one point an then started typing all the negatives I experienced on discord and they started saying I'm very judgemental. Since then, it's like they avoided playing any games with me cause their way of thinking is that I dislike everything.

I'll give you an example, Destiny 2 was on its last feet and was clearly dying. But, it's a game you have to play together in the late game dungeons and raids. I used to love this game but gave me many burnouts the past few years. So, I pointed out the negatives of the game and stopped playing.

I'm in a group of friends, felt great a year ago but nowadays there's like private chats everyone has access to except me. I'm mostly left alone as there's less and less games we can play together. It's like they enjoy everything for some reason. Doesn't help with my anxiety either.

It really depends on games but the ones I play barely have any freedom. It’s nothing but fomo events, battlepasses, expensive stores, pay to win in some cases and ingame addictive practices that tell you what to do. I’ve played games since I was 3, they really took all the fun in games away.
