Probably the LACK of therapy is to blame. CORRECTION!! After defeating Gordie in the Gym Challenge, he never said he wanted to CRAWL into a hole, but instead, he says he wanted to CLIMB into one. This could get easily misremembered because the phrase “crawl into a hole” is more common, and Melony uses this phrase when you beat her.

Though for Gordie, I think it’s easier to draw his glasses on the same layer because of the bang over his face. Though half the time, they’re translucent, so I’d probably have to do smth else for that effect if I wish to replicate it…

Whenever I draw characters with glasses, even if their eyes aren’t visible, I draw on their eyes on the sketch layer anyway so that I know where to draw the glasses. Sometimes they’re on the color layer, covered by the glasses on their own layer.
