ooh both would definitely be interesting. To Australia: Idk it might be feasible to show a lot of aspects through the game, cause Pokémon loves to vary within their regions like mountainous area, then deserts etc. It could work out, but I see your point A few things will be left out.

I just realized... The last few Pokémon games were all based on European countries. Kalos (France), Galar (UK) and Paldea (Spain). Either they mix completely up and change continent or (which I would love) stay in Europe and then choose Germany or Italy, both would be pretty dope

The magic system in Witch hat Atelier is so refreshing and creative. there were so many shows that copy paste the same concept and don't put too much thought into it. You could probably create your own spells with the system they have
