Redglove on the left, with Lord X on the right

both are in sync with one another

X is seen in an attire similar to MJ's, and having a ball and chain around the left ankle

in my time of staring at the guardians's official sprite i have discovered something THAT I BET, YA DIDNT KNOW, YOKUBO'S NOSE IS GOLDEN, or, has a gold shine to it....and this J O K E comic is how you find out #BrianGriffinPlush #sonicexe #execommunity #lordxguardians #LordX

THE PROOF OF MY STATEMENT, THE NOSE GOLDEN, but not his theeth, mind you

kofuku jokingly approaches yokubo, jokingly calling his nose picking "digging for gold" hence his golden nose, but yokubo confirms this as he pulls out AN ACTUAL GOLD NUGGET, PURE GOLD, RAW GOLD OUT OF HIS NOSE

IT ALSO TURNS OUT gekido is doing an estimate of how much they would get by selling said gold nuggets, all while keeping secretive where they got the gold itself, kofuku is MCFUNGLED AND FLABBERGASTED and just glad ken'o knows nothing of this, he would not stop puking for weeks...

some more designs I've been holding on to Kito was the easiest to design I believe, and was the first

clownish looking hedgehog, bright red nose and cheeks

a hat sits atop one ear, while the other droops down with a ring

wears an open vest and baggy pants

a lankier hedgehog, robes drooping from its frame

in fact, it starts to look rather droopy overall

I changed the vest to a coat on gekido, something a little more rough

smug hedgehog, holding a long stick, adorning clothing fit for a hot environment.

although he wears a hat here, he does not adorn it in the final comic

at the time I drew this, I also drew these just some recent concepts readapting the animal buddies from the original game of course I rethought how they fit in lore wise, but after doing that I tried working out details about their designs and functions and yes, sanity meter :)

doodles of animal husks

there is the rabbit, the chicken, and the bird

each having varied levels of mutilation

here is an idea for the squirrel, this little creepy crawly thing going on

was working on this a while ago for pc port it's an improved version of purgatory (or soul as listed in the og game) I really wanted to get across that these were bodies piled and intwined with another, my second attempt didn't really do that really happy with this new direction, more variety

a new sprite sheet tile for purgatory

a conglomerate of body and badnik parts

evolution of this tile, yes it was inspired by soul sand from minecraft
