We actually got away okay, beat most people out, but getting is I was nose to tail for 30 mins, 2 and a half hours before kick off. I always try and sit right under the roof in the Stretford End, great view and protection from all weather, though yesterday was fine.

Well what a lovely night. A nice steakhouse and then to see Lord of the Dance for my Mum's 60th next week. Amazing food, brilliant show. Seen it many times, still as good as ever. The poem I wrote detailing Mum's other surprise brought on happy tears as well, so that was nice. 💜💜

Speaking of food, my brunch today, fried chicken French toast (proper brioche) with maple syrup, chilli and Baconnaise, and Baconnaise is as glorious as it sounds, and a raspberry lemonade. All very yummy. 😋😋😋

A tall glass filled with a pinkish mix of fresh raspberry pulp and lemonade, with ice, lemon and a straw.

Fried chicken on a bed of brioche toast with maple syrup and bacon infused thick mayonnaise.

Here is Perry, and a couple of his 'sister' Poppy as well, the one with flowers round her neck was when she was flower girl at my parents renewal of vows. Both sadly departed now, but both rescued and deeply loved. 💜💜❤️❤️🥰🥰 Poppy was younger than Perry, left us about 3 years ago. 😢 😢😢

Absolutely. I lost my Poppy a few months ago. Yorkshire terrier, nearly 17. She'd been thrown over a neighbour's wall in Spain, we scooped her up, brought her home, she lived her best life. 🥰🥰🥰
