I drew this illustration as cover for the reading sample of my comic "Sea of Flowers" that you can read on my patreon! I still need a proper promotional illustration for the comic, I might use this as the cover for chapter 1 uwu #SoftOCside #sof_comic #sof_Linh #softseasideart #SeaOfFlowers #ocsky

Digital drawing of a young woman with a bob cut and a headband in her hair, turning around to the viewer and surrounded by falling leaves. She's wearing a puffy jacket and underneath an overall. She's carrying a checkered handbag. Behind her the silhouette of a big tree is visible. The whole illustration is in pink/purple tones while the sky and the lighting are a warm yellow.

here's the old version from 2022 btw! (drew this when the game was first announced when I had bedridden and had fever, lmao)

Previous Hades 2 fanart that I drew in 2022. Zagreus and Melinoe are standing next to each other. Melinoe is resting one arm on Zagreus' shoulder while he wraps his arm around her, placing his hand on her other shoulder. They both are looking to the viewer, Melinoe with an angry expression and Zagreus grinning. In her left hand, she is holding a dagger while she is raising her other hand, controlling a floating sickle. Both her weapons and her transparent arm are glowing in a bright qreen. In Zagreus' left hand, the free arm that is not wrapping around his his sister, Zagreus holds his sword which glows in a bright red.

Digital drawing of the two characters from the webcomic "colors" by kageshini. The drawing shows the DnD characters from Jae and Greg (called Jasmond and Rory). Jae's DnD character Jasmond is a half-elf druid with mint-green hair and a green cape, wearing a red beanie and a leather armor. He grew a little flower in his hand and shows it to Rory, a pink-haired human bard with a dashing smile who's playing a lyre. They are both blushing.

She wears long gloves where some fingers are cut-out and she is wielding a long staff.

Above her, a huge purple figure is glooming over her, resembling a woman with long hair and a dress whose eyes are closed. The negative space of the figure forms three faces that are staring at the person with the light saber. All around the negative space are several eyes that are staring to the person with the light saber. OC belongs to chromxena on tumblr.

The other replies "...Today's been rough. I can't anymore."

Panel 2: The sitting elf says "Sorry that I am such a bother to you" which the kneeling elf replies "You are not, you are my brother and I love you". The brother says "I'm useless" which the older sibling denies "That's not true."

(4/4) At least, everyone is awake and warm now! Thanks for reading 💕 I love my silly crew 😭💕

Page 12 of "Warm Tiefling": Blauauge pulls the rod aggressively to catch the fish to the side, bringing everyone in disarray, his expression serious and struggling. Maribeth grabs happily onto Blauauge’s arm while Dimo grabs his horns to hold himself, looking visibly excited. Himnol, the elf on the right side, starts loses their balance with a shocked expression while losing grip of their quill and notebook. Blauauge’s tail that was comfortably wrapped around Timmy squishes Timmy and his tummy. Timmy’s eyes widen and he looks not well. Vita gets pushed behind, looking distressed, while Ni’onthe spreads her arms to hold everyone together.

Page 13 of "Warm Tiefling": Blauauge stares at his catch which is an old wet booth. The disappointment in his face is unmeasurable. Maribeth looks at the booth surprised, still sitting on Blauauge’s lap. Dimo and Ni’onthe who put her hand on Timmy look at Himnol with a concerned expression. They fell down the railing, sticking up a leg and their arm which is holding the quill in the air. The notebook fell on the railing. Dimo asks “Oy, ye alive, Himnol” and Himnol reassures “No worries, dearest steersman! This whirl of excitement just gave me the greatest idea for my play”! Timmy bents over, one hand on his stomache the other over his mouth to avoid puking. Vita looks at him tired and says “Not again…”

Last page (page 14) of "Warm Tiefling":
The scene changes, the background is all white while Blauauge and Dimo are drawn as chibis on the bottom right corner. Dimo disappointed in himself, eyes closed out of embarassement, says to Blauauge “Oy, shouldn’t have hold onto year horns just then, lad… My inner steersman gained the upperhand. I know that ye don’ like that, ‘m sorry…” Blauauge who is seen from behind says “Don’t stress it, it was a hell of a situation but don’t do it again” and Dimo replies “Aye…”

(2/4) Blauauge got his grumpiness from Vita, one of his four mums and the sunshine ship physician, hehe ☀️

Page 4 of "Warm Tiefling": Himnol, an elf with long wavy hair, appears in the same corner in which Maribeth appeared. They are colored in green. They hold a quill and a notebook in their hand, asking with a curious expression “Can I sit together with you? There’s nothing more inspiring than looking at the freezing sea in company” Blauauge replies: “Go for it. Just stay quiet, I’m fishing right now.” Himnol answers: “Of course! I don’t want to disturb this tranquil peace!”

Page 5 of "Warm Tiefling": Himnol now sits next to Blauauge, leaning their back on his arm, the legs bent on the railing. They closed their eyes, smiling while a tear is in the corner of one of their eyes. They recite their poem “Listen! The breeze of winter. Waves! Mighty and timber. Sun and sorros in the air, the gap growing! Like it doesn’t care…”. They then gasp in excitedment and say: “The poem is writing itself! Maybe I should add some dance and a melody to it?”. Maribeth comments: “Oh, how about a groupd choreography?!” Himnol: “What a marvelous idea, Maribeth! Would the two of you like to assist me?”. Blauauge looks at Himnol with a frowning face and says “Not now, Himnol. Still fishing, remember?” which Himnol answers with “Oh, of course, Officer Blauauge! The muse of this poem is your admirable concentration, after all!”

Page 6 of "Warm Tiefling": Vita, a grumpy-looking older half-elf-woman colored in mint-green with a headband over her pointy ears and a pipe in her hand, and Timmy, a human boy colored in red with a beanie and holding a hot-water-bottle on their stomach, appear in the bottom-left-corner behind the railing. Vita complains “By the seas, it’s so cold, can’t smoke outside without freezing my ass off.” She then asks Timmy: “Is your stomach at least doing better, boy?” which Timmy replies with “Yes, the stomachache disappeared! You have my grattitude, Vita.” Vita says “That’s good, then it’s time for a smoke to calm down the nerves” and speaks to Blauauge directly, saying: “Oy, we gonna joing you.” Blauauge looking slightly annoyed replies “Whatever…but turn to the other direction.” Himnol is visibly concentrated on writing the poem while Maribeth looks curiously at the crew mates who just joined.

Page 7 of "Warm Tiefling": Timmy sits on the other side of Blauauge while Blauauge’s tail is wrapped around him, legs hanging over the railing while Vita sits behind the two of them, resting one arm on Blauauge’s shoulder while she smokes her pipe with her other hand. Timmy asks “Vita, may I suggest if you dislike the cold so much, perhaps you could consider quitting smoking…?” which Vita replies stoicly “And perhaps you should consider treating your stomachache yourself, the next time you eat Bob’s food. ‘Cause I won’t help you without my tobacco, boy.” Timmy stays still awkwardly while Blauauge comments with a tired expression: “Scratch that, mate. Altak and I have been trying to sepearte this quack from her pipe for years now. Vita replies: “Pff, I’ll quit smoking if you stop being a drunkard who’s part of every brawl at the port, brat.” and Blauauge says: Oy, whatcha saying there? It’s been way less than before!”. Himnol puffs their cheeks while writing their poem.

I've realized I haven't posted this little comic on bsky yet so here you go! Cover illustration depicting an older half-elf woman, a young human boy, an artificier gnome girl, a dwarf with a short beard, a water genasi and a bard elf, all in winter outfits who are forming a big cuddling pile around a black-haired tiefling. They are lying on the deck of a ship and taking a nap except for the elf on the right side who is writing happily in their little notebook. The background is a variety of cold blue shades while the cuddle pile is in a warm light red.

Page 1 of "Warm Tiefling": Blauauge, a strong-looking, young Tiefling guy with black hair, wearing a short-sleeved linen shirt, sits cross-legged on the railing of a ship and is fishing. He rests his head in his hand while waiting patiently for any fishes. While the entire panel is drawn in cold blue tone, his body is filled with a warm, light red.

Page 2 of "Warm Tiefling": Maribeth, a gnome girl with round short pigtails and ear warmers, appears in the bottom-left-corner behind the railing. She is colored in orange. She is freezing, snot running down her nose and looks like as in pain. She asks Blauauge “Weeeeeh, it’s soooo cold. B-B-Blauauge, c-can I c-cuddle with you? You are always s-s-so warm.” He looks at her calmly and answers “Sure. Just don’t move too much or you’ll scare the fishes, okay?”. She replies “Okayyy, th-th-thanks…”

Page 3 of "Warm Tiefling": Maribeth sits comfortably on Blauauge’s lap, arms wrapping around her knees, grinning and visibly satisfied says “Aah, much better~ Gotta [to] be really convenient for you to have a naturally high body temperature!”. Blauauge, raising an eyebrow, asks “Ehh, year, tiefling trait and all but…Girl…you sitting there is somewhat awkward.” She replies “But it’s the warmest spot, hehe.” Blauauge says “Is that so? I guess it’s fine as long as you sit still.”

Hope I'm not too late! I'm a comic artist with a love for character-driven stories and D&D! I love to explore the personalities and relationships of and between characters, no matter if serious or silly situations! Here's my portfolio: softseaside.carrd.co

Comic page from my comic "The thing to cheer you up"

1. panel: Lumaer looking very worried.

2. panel: Lumaer gets an idea, their expression light up and a small light bulb appears.

3. panel: Lumaer speaks to Elrru "Hey, I know just the thing to cheer you up!". Close up to Elrru's face who's looking at Lumaer now.

4. panel: A sock puppet, drawn extremely simplified contrary to the detailed shading of the rest of the comic, speaks to Elrru. "Hello, Elrru, it's been a while! It's me, Mr. Sock Van Socksten! The sock who knows all about Myrkul and various other gods!"

Bird's-eye view drawing of a lanky human, wearing a big scarf that covers half of his face and a big wizard hat on his head. The whole drawing is colored in different shades of dark purple, except for the scarf and his eyes. His left hand is grabbing the hat brim while he carries a big book that he presses against his chest with his other arm. He stares intensively and unsettlingly at the viewer, his eyes glowing in a bright yellow.

Since Blauauge didn't have any contact with other tieflings in his childhood, he never learned to speak Infernal so that's why Rotauge and him learned his language together 💜 #dnd #SoftOCside #softseasideart #Blauauge #Rotauge #Lilaauge #tiefling #seaside_suscampaign #ocsky #dndart

Purple sketchdump of Blauauge and Rotauge studying Infernal. First sketch depicts the two of them when they are younger reading a book together. Blauauge says something in Infernal which Rotauge replies in Infernal as well. Blauauge then says "I think it's pronounced [infernal]?". Rotauge says "Ohh, you could be right, thaaaanks~"

Second sketch shows Rotauge whispering something in Infernal into Blauauge's ear while he is busy with paperwork and starts blushing.

In the third sketch, Rotauge and Blauauge are standing next to each other. While Blauauge stares pensively to the front, Rotauge turns to him and asks "What are you thinking about~?" Blauauge absentmindedly answers in Infernal and Rotauge replies " 'Home', huh? I see~"

First panel: Blauauge sits at a table, his head in his palm while his elbows are on the table. He looks at Rotauge excitingly who is showing off a turquoise gem stone.

Blauauge asks "And why did you want this stone?"
Rotauge: "Well~ It's a rare gem used for certain rituals~"
Blauauge: "What kind of rituals?"
Rotauge: "Hehe~"
Blauauge: "Rotauge?"

Second panel shows Rotauge casting some kind of cantrip that creates a purple sparkling light in their hand. They look at it happily and say: "Tada~". Ni'onthe, my DnD main character, a monk water genasi, and Blauauge are watching mesmerized. Ni'onthe is super exciting and shouts "WOAAAH! ROTAUGE, WIE COOL!" (Rotauge, so cool!" while Blauauge trying to hide his excitement says in a more calmer way "Woah...". However, his tail is wagging excitingly.

colored some old sketches with Blauauge with beard and THEEEEN the urge for aged-up Blauauge took over my body 👉👈 Older Blauauge was fun to draw BUT DAMN, what is older Rotauge SO FINE for? 🤌👌 #dnd #SoftOCside #softseasideart #Blauauge #seaside_suscampaign #Rotauge #Lilaauge #Loran #nionthescrew

Colored sketches of Blauauge with a beard. In the first sketch, he's looking at the mirror while touching his stubble. His hair is longer than usual and he thinks to himself "Ugh, it's getting so long again..."

Second sketch shows Loran, a grinning half-orc woman with purple skin, white ponytail and lots of scars, cutting Blauauge's hair while they are at the sea.
Loran says "The tides are pretty nasty today, dontcha think, Violets*? Let's hope that you don't get a new haircut by accident, he."
Blauauge answers "Works, it will grow back."
Loran: "Daaw, Violets, it's not fun if you are not getting angry~"
Blauauge: "You've been cutting my hair for so many years now. I know you wouldn't do such a thing...at least not in this particular case."
Loran: "Aww, you are warming up my old heart."
A purple text box is at the right side of the comic. Text reads: "In german, violets ("Veilchen") is another word for "black eye" ("blue eye" in german which is the meaning of this name "Blauauge").

Third sketch shows Blauauge in the crow's nest humming to himself while seagulls are flying. He looks relaxed, he has a stubble and longer hair.

Colored sketch of an older Blauauge facing to the right. He has another big tattoo on his other arm, he has a stubble and in generally, he looks wider and older. He wears a white shirt with blue strings, a dark-blue vest and a yellow cloth around his waist.

Three colored sketches of aged-up Blauauge and Rotauge.
First one shows Blauauge in full body, wearing the same outfit as described above, a white shirt with blue strings, a dark-blue vest and a yellow cloth around his waist, blue pants and dark-blue boots. This drawing was drawn with a reference that is shown in the upper-left corner, depicting a shirtless man in a similar pose.

Second sketch shows older Blauauge in present!Blauauge's default face, being shirtless, wearing no shoes, blue shorts, another blue fabric wrapped around his hips, hold together with another yellow cloth. His feet and his right hand are wrapped with bandages while the other arm shows his phalloplasty scar. He says "Beim Klabautermann...So bin ich früher rumgelaufen?" which is german and translates into "Shiver me timbers... THIS is how I used to walk around?".

Third sketch shows older Blauauge wearing the same outfit as described above, a white shirt with blue strings, a dark-blue vest and a yellow cloth around his waist, blue pants and dark-blue boots. His arm and tail is wrapped around an aged-up Rotauge, a half-elf with brown mullet, wearing a white longsleeved linen-shirt with a wide deep cleavage. A red belt is wrapped around a grey cloth that is wrapped around their hips and they were tight red pants with dark-red boots. Rotauge's expression is joyful, flowers are popping up around their head and they do the OK-hand-gesture.

Me cosplaying my OC Blauauge. I'm wearing a sleevess wide linen shirt, dark blue pants and black boots and around my waist a blue and a creme/golden scarf is wrapped around my waist. One of the arms is covered in a (fake) wave tattoo, the other arm has a (fake) tattoo depicting a dagger piercing through a rose. My fore arms are wrapped with bandages and on my knuckles the word "hold" and "fast" are written. My black hair is tucked into a short haircut like a lot of kpop idols have.

Rotauge's Bad Day (1/2) (everyone needs a blue supportive short king in their life 🙏) And now you have context for that little bonus page I showed a while ago 💜 uwu #dnd #SoftOCside #softseasideart #Blauauge #seaside_suscampaign #Rotauge #Lilaauge #nionthescrew #OCsky #comic #seaside_comic

Rotauge's Bad Day - Page 5
5 minutes later, Blauauge comes back with the sailor from before who got beaten up by him. He's grabbing them by the back of the collar, looking pissed, his tail clenching tightly from the anger. The sailor says with a scared expression to Rotauge "I-I'm sorry for being so rude to you...!!"
Blauauge adds "Yeah, you should be, asshat! Now piss off and keep your distance!" which the sailor replies with "Aye, sir..."
Rotauge watches this whole scene with disbelief.

Blauauge then turns to Rotauge, looking relaxed, saying "Okay, back to the topic. If you need anything, just hit me u-" and before Blauauge can finish the sentence, Rotauge leans forward with their whole body onto Blauauge and rests their head on his shoulder while seeming happy.

Blauauge, very surprised by this, starts blushing and his eyes turn pink from the affection, his tail pointing upwards in surprise.

Rotauge's Bad Day - Bonus
Blauauge and Rotauge are in their cabin, cuddling on the bottom bunk bed. Blauauge sits behind Rotauge, hugging them while Rotauge hugs a hot water bottle with a blanket.
Blauauge says with an attentive and caring expression "How are you holding up?"
Rotauge, smiling with their usual relaxed expression, replies "Better, cramps are managable right now~"
Blauauge: "Need me to bring you something?"
Rotauge: "No, just stay~ It's very warm and cozy right now~"

Rotauge's Bad Day (1/2) (Even they can loose their chill sometimes 😞) finally had some time to write alt-text for this silly messy comic from a while back, so here you go~ #dnd #SoftOCside #softseasideart #Blauauge #seaside_suscampaign #Rotauge #Lilaauge #nionthescrew #OCsky #comic #seaside_comic

Rotauge's Bad Day - Page 1: Rotauge, an always grinning and relazed half-elf, is on deck of a ship, reading some important paper when suddenly a strong wind blows the papers away into the sea. Rotauge looks at the flying paper and just says "Ohh~".

In the next scene, the crew is loading the cargo. Someone in the off says "That was the last one!" and Dimo, another crewmate, a dwarf with a short beard, replies "Ah, finally!" and drops a heavy crate to the ground. The crate directly lands on Rotauge's foot in which Rotauge makes a shocked expression of pain. Dimo apologizes immediately to Rotauge saying "AW, SHIT!! My bad, mate, I didn't see ya!!". Rotauge, one tear in their eye and smiling through the pain, gives the ok-handgesture while shaking a bit and says "All good~"

Rotauge's Bad Day - Page 2:
Rotauge is handing over a clipboard with a contract to a customer. They put their hand on their lower stomach, looking slightly distressed but still smiling. They think to themself "Ahh~ My cramps... It's this time of the month again~"

The customer complains "5 Gold?! That's way too much!!"
Rotauge "We already agreed on that~"
Customer: "I never signed anything!!"
Rotauge: "You did~ Two weeks ago... It's the page after~"
Cutomer: "ARGH, I guess!!"

Rotauge's Bad Day - Page 3:
Close-Up of Rotauge's face. They are still smiling but they are visibly having a bad day, a dark shadow is cast onto their face. They say "Ahhh~"

In the next panel, Blauauge stands next to Rotauge and asks "Oy, you good?"
Rotauge who's still holding the clipboard: "Yeah..."
Blauauge: "You sure? Anything I can do for you?"
Rotauge: "All good... I'll make sure to ask for help but th-"

Rotauge's Bad Day - Page 4
Rotauge gets interrupted by another gruffy sailor who bumps into their shoulder and pushes them off, saying "OUT OF THE WAY!!". Rotauge being a bit startled by that lets out a little "Ah!" while Blauauge notices this attentively.
Rotauge, closing their eyes and looking in the same direction where the sailor goes, just accepts this incident as another inconvenience of the day and says "Well, as I said, don't-"

Before Rotauge can finish their sentence, Blauauge with red glowing eyes and furious expression runs after the sailor that bumped Rotauge. Rotauge surprised finishes the sentence "worry..."

like look at THIS !!! (october 2023 vs february 2025) the love I have for this little blue man and the sheer joy and inspiration I get from drawing him really improved my art a lot (also made me learn a lot about myself)

Old concept art of Blauauge on white background from 2023. He is holding onto an anchor with one hand and one hand on his hips. He used to have more of a grey-blueish skintone, a slightly different body type, different clothes and he looks a bit rougher than he looks now.

Drawing of Blauauge, a blue sailor tiefling in a dark storm, his eyes are glowing brightly. A big tidal waves builds up behind him while in the foreground water streams in front of him. The tiefling looks extremely furious, his eyes are widen with no pupils in it, his mouth screaming in anger, his hands formed into fists. He has a strong build and is shirtless so you can clearly see his top scars.

Two stickers of my DnD character Blauauge as a chibi. He is a blue Tiefling with bright blue eyes, wavy dark hair and a swollen eye. He has small horns that are yellow at the top as well as the tip of his tail. The first sticker shows him with his arms crossed and shirtless and leaning on a big anchor. The second sticker shows him slightly irritated, one hand on his hip, the other grabbing onto the anchor.
