just wanted to say sorry it's been a little quiet with art lately, but the good news is i have a new puppy in my life! i adopted him on august 16th from our local shelter, he's a 6 month old australian shepherd mix! his name was Cobalt, which i ended up keeping and calling him Coby for short <3

a little over a week ago i had to say goodbye to my best boy boomer, always by my side for the past 9 and a half years. i feel so lost without him, it feels like a huge part of me is gone. i'm taking some time off of comm work to process everything and just be sad for a while. miss you buddy <3

spent some time this week updating the design of my old oc Bear, they're a nonbinary (they/he) chow chow, and the drummer of my oc dog band play bite! i wanted to try out giving him more of a mane that's connected to his hair and ears, and more of a squished chow chow face under his hair :3
