i forgot the exact context but i a website of a linux distro named "linux compatible" among their features, so i had to make this...

the "the floor here is made of floor" meme with an elongated Buzz Lightyear's looking sceptically at the floor, namely a bed he stands on.

the text has been changed to "hmm … yes … the linux here is linux compatible".

did a little illustration for my bro about what i mean by "multivectors are (hyper)cubes". all of the vertices are components whose linear combination forms the multivector. maybe this helps someone 😇.

a cube illustrating the bases of 3d multivectors. it's various products of the basis vectors x, y and z: 1, x, y, z, x * y, z * x, y * z and x * y * z. vertices connected by an edge differ by one basis vector factor, and the direction of the edge indicates which basis vector it is (except the drawing is pretty sloppy).

i feel like i'm onto something here. mark my words.

YouTube comment by me:
i feel like The Onion is going to take the innocuous InfoWars format and slowly turn it into something deranged. that elf mascot eating people thing definitely feels slightly off already.

i just looked into @joinloops for the first time. i tried a bunch of videos from loops.video, and none play on my laptop 😔. the web console reveals that it is indeed a codec issue. #loops #mp4

screenshot of the "Video Unavailable" message on Loops:
"This video cannot be played. It might be corrupted or temporarily unavailable."
two buttons below say "Try again" and "Go Home"

i took a silly #amIATechBro test and got 55%. i believe this is the optimal result. the questions tend to somewhat meaningless and/or mush together different statements together. i'm still a bit insulted about the "hustle culture" bit, though. :P

screenshot of the test

"YOUR SCORE
> You scored 56%
That puts you in the "tendencies" range.
Note: The term "Tech Bro’ describes a structurally gendered phenomenon - built by and for men. Your results reflect how much you've internalized their ideas - not
whether the system was built for you. It wasn't." [lol, thanks.]

meritocracy 0%
techno-solutionisn 100%
disruption 100%
cyber- libertarianism 100%
hustle culture 33%
privilege blindness 0%
techno-utopianism 67%

wow, that #redButtonBlueButton thing fucks with my brain in ways i didn't expect. xcancel.com/waitbutwhy/status/20477…

Screenshot of "X" poll by Tim Urban (@waitbutwhy):

"Everyone in the world has to take a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press?"

42% Red
58% Blue

i thought it might have been a cross-server thing, but they don't play from the original server, either. i don't think my setup is super unusual. i'm on Firefox with fairly "strict" privacy policies, and i got EME disabled, because duh.

A screenshot of the **Enhanced Tracking Protection** settings menu in the Firefox web browser, set to a dark theme.

The interface presents three primary security tiers:

* **Standard:** Described as balanced for protection and performance.
* **Strict:** Offers stronger protection but warns that some sites may break.
* **Custom (Selected):** This section is expanded, showing several active checkboxes for blocking specific types of tracking, including **Cookies** (set to "Isolate cross-site cookies"), **Tracking content**, **Cryptominers**, and both **Known** and **Suspected fingerprinters**.

Below these options, there is a section titled "Fix major site issues (recommended)" which is currently unchecked. At the bottom, a warning box with a yellow alert icon states that "Some sites may break with custom tracking protection" and suggests using the fix-it settings if issues occur.
