I asked some friends of mine to do a few lines of my poem ‘Ode To Square Chapel’ in support of my quest to help #SaveSquareChapelArts in Halifax. Without hesitation… they all chipped in. 🙌 It’s what friends are for. Please re-post if you enjoy! x

The behaviour goes unchallenged and is usually swept under the carpet. Yes, there and good ones, but there are also a lot of bad ones and those who allow it by turning a blind eye. 2/2 #theBlame #PoliceCulture @itvx.com

#TheBlame on @itvx.com. This 👇 👏 Well done to the creative team for using real messages written by UK police officers. In the space of five years I went from being pro-policing to experiencing first-hand that there are lots of misogynistic, abusive & toxic officers. 1/2

The cogs are still turning in my attempt to put #SquareChapelArts (Halifax) back on its feet. 🙏🏻 I’m flabbergasted by the offers of support & levels of backing I’m receiving. What sort of society are we if we fail to champion the arts & culture? Thanks, you good people. Stay tuned!

Oh, thank you. I will take a look, sounds good. I take it you are referring to the old school stuff your house is made from such as Accrington 'red' brick. That is very strong stuff, built to last. I am doing some brick work workshops so getting to grips with the terminology and what's what 🧱

25 years ago, terrorists killed nearly 3,000 people, including 2,753 New Yorkers. As we remember that terrible day, let us also remember the first responders, office workers and strangers who ran toward danger to help each other.

I would love to breathe new life into this little gem… but I NEED funding! I may well eventually turn to you good people, but if there’s an arts-loving benefactor out there who fancies putting their shirt on a passionate, highly-qualified player, then do give me a shout.🙏🏻 Please RT, folks! x
