The R version of cards will usually have a little less stats like friendship bonus (how fast the bond bar fills) but give the same skill hints. Here's SSR suzuka at lvl 30 and R suzuka at 30 as a comparison. Same skill hints. No chain events. Slightly less bonuses. So bringing an R card can def help
