IT'S ONLY A DREAM ---- Sometimes I wish I would just take simple, traditional, beautiful photos, but there are enough people already doing that. If I am going to photography the human body, I prefer to explore the strange, unseen, stark, and interesting.

And black-and-white photo of a nude woman reflected in a mirror, creating a surreal effect. Implied nudity only.

HEAT WAVE Taken during an intense heat wave. It was so hot (indoors and outdoors) that I couldn't use my laptop to process photos unless I had an ice pack to cool it down!

FORCE ---- Traditional cyanotype print of original image shot using my special studio mirror setup. ---- #artisticnude #malenude #cyanotype

A traditional cyanotype print in classic Prussian blue, showing a male artistic nude photographed with mirrors in such a way that the limbs jut out in a forceful, abstract way. Contains explicit artistic nudity.

ATTEMPT --- Yes, this is weird, and no, it was not achieved with Photoshop. --- #artisticnude #blackandwhite #abstract #photography

A black-and-white artistic nude photograph of a male model. The form of the model is heavily distorted, creating an abstract mass with body parts jutting out. The effect has not been achieved through photo manipulation.

HISTORY Our bodies are like journals, archiving and embedding our experiences and emotions. Sometimes we try to resist the accumulation of experience, not recognizing its beauty. - Featuring the physique of @alexiafx.bsky.social - #artisticnude #photography #bodyscape #blackandwhite

ANCIENT HILLS Humans may not live long, but our bodies are composed of elements from the earth which were once forged in stars. As Carl Sagan wrote, "We are made of starstuff". Each of us is part of a process that repeats and develops over billions of years. We are ancient. @alexiafx.bsky.social

GEOMETRY --------- One of the joys of photography is the act of finding new arrangements and views of existing things. I approach the human body the way I do a stone or a floral arrangement-- with a quest for new angles and ideas. #fineartnude #bodyscape #blackandwhite
