Did anyone else get an email from the UCP asking for money to defeat “Nenshi’s smear campaign”? I have no idea how they got my email? (Well, some idea.) I have contributed to Kyle Campbell’s campaign and will be celebrating when he wins!

The by-election in Calgary-Shaw is on. Voters go to the polls on September 14.

Naheed Nenshi and the NDP are throwing everything they have at this seat.

You know what that looks like. Smears, distortions, and attacks that keep coming right up until the polls close.

We have to push back hard. We cannot let an anti-energy NDP that calls pipelines "nation burning" gain ground anywhere in this province.

Mike Derry is our UCP candidate in Calgary-Shaw, and he and his volunteers are out knocking on doors every single day. Danielle Smith has been out there too.

I’m a software engineer. This is highly exaggerated. It’s a helpful tool we are expected to use. On a good week it might add 25 -50% productivity. There are people that use it better than me that might add 100%. Other people don’t use it effectively. There is overhead checking for correctness.

I think when you are good at something you will be accused of AI. My daughter, who is a very good writer, was accused of using AI to write a university class paper. It was a tough one to defend. You are a very good graphic designer so maybe it’s a compliment? Still frustrating, I’m sure.

I will definitely vote. I feel like they could make it difficult for married women who have changed their surname and also Canadian citizens who were not born in Canada. I will be showing up with extra identification and marriage certificate. I’m not due for the new horrible driver’s license yet.

This makes me so angry. I volunteer there regularly and it is getting busier every week. If we had higher minimum wage, rent control, lower insurance rates and lower fuel costs we would decease the food bank need. The $100 is insulting and will do diddly squat for improving food insecurity.
