TIL, Node has a built-in IP BlockList helper. Great for IPv6 and subnet handling when you are matching IP addresses.

I started to track birds around home with BirdNet-Go. It's so much fun to see the birds living around us, we were hearing but had no idea about their species.

Did you know that every mac has a built-in remote desktop support tool? With built-in "Screen Sharing" app, you can connect to any mac around the world with its Apple Account (of course with their approval). Very practical for quick support.

It's so fancy and practical to track Ghost blog stats on my mac desktop with the Haunt app by @mert@mertbulan.com I strongly suggest to all Ghost publishers who use iPhone to give it a try. apps.apple.com/us/app/haunt-for-gho…

I'm upset to learn that my 3 years old Apple Watch Ultra will not get the next OS update. This can be the shortest lifetime of software updates for an Apple device. :/

Apple announcement screenshot mentions watchOS 27 compatible devices: Apple Watch SE3, 10 - 11, Ultra 2-3

Always love when great tech is being built right in your backyard. Met Chris today, he’s building Vellumine, a search service for Ghost that really stands out. Glad we connected. Check his great work www.vellumine.com

Anyone would like to have a menu bar app for Ghost? I needed this to check my social web timeline and quickly post notes. Would you have other use cases?

Fun fact: You can't use "__GHOST_URL__" in a Ghost post/page content, since renderer replaces it with site url. Good luck if you want to write an article about this 😊

Ghost editor screenshot of a post uses __GHOST_URL__, and preview shows "https://muratcorlu.com" instead.

It was great to meet with @jannis@jannis.io and @mariia@itsmariia.co, in Amsterdam today. Ghost community is so lucky to have Jannis. I'm sure we'll be in close contact with him to make Ghost ecosystem greater.

After years of back and forth, I decided to give a serious try to Obsidian. I loved how it leverages Markdown frontmatter as searchable "properties". I'm planning continue to use Apple Notes for daily notes and Obsidian for structural ones.

When I saw WhatsApp’s interoperability notification with third-party applications today, I was happy for a moment. However, when I looked at the implementation details, it seems that this too will be Meta’s new data collection tool. Why are WhatsApp servers at the center?

This is a screenshot from Safari on iOS 26. I love how "invisible" the browser is. It gives a full-screen navigating experience. Now web content even cross under the iOS top bar. This gives much more flexibility for web designers and developers.

You can use HTML card for this. Reader is showing HTML card without running JS in it. So a card like below shows the link in AP reader (also in email), but not in AP Reader. But I think, it would be better to have a card, like "Email Only" but able to pick platforms we want to show it.
