I’ve learned that with SITC, while many don’t necessarily comment … SO many are watching. We regularly reach up to 200,000 people (see below in insight bar) despite very rarely promoting posts. This speaks absolutely endless volumes to me about the need out there ❤️‍🩹

I am not emotionally equipped for 40 degrees at 6:30 pm. I’m really not. I impulse-purchased a massive industrial fan, but I’m not able to get the big bugger of a thing out of my car and up the stairs - so, now I think I’ll just curl up and cry for a minute 😂😂

Been awake since 4 am and in transit …. Yet to leave Sydney airport. Stuffy enclosed buildings and flight delays are something I 100% do *not* enjoy 😵‍💫 This is the massive downside to remote life. Destinations are a century away & it can be so exhausting!

Facebook just reminded me of that one red carpet event in 2022 when I was Marie Claire’s advocate of the year. That entire year was very surreal. Still is. I also believe that it’s taken me almost two years since, to fully recover from the extreme fatigue of all the media, travel, etc. life, eh!?

I set myself the goal of a 30 day fast during December. Not going to lie - this last week is HARD 😬🫣 Why a fast? Because I’ve had a horrific 18 months, and I want to go into 2025 having given my body and my mind a reset. 4 days to go. (May need new clothes 🫢)

This year, I learned the worst bullies I’ve ever witnessed in action (online) are from within our own ranks - and are endorsed, encouraged, and enabled. It was a heartbreaking discovery about the most toxic aspects of some corners of the rural space.

Facebook just reminded me of the days I spent my life barefoot water skiing. I do miss it. Had my last ‘foot at 40. If my surgeon hadn’t destroyed my leg I was going to have a crack this year at 50. Alas, a surgeon destroyed my leg.
