My next game I got to play a Traxler Counter Attack against a Fried Liver with a checkmate on turn 10. Chess is fun. 000

He was successful but was so generous he died without a cent, and asked that his friends donate to the Open Medicine Foundation on my behalf in his memory. 140

I found the perfect bike for sick and disabled people: the Electra Ponto Go. I was on the verge of getting it - and then I went with the fun option instead! 020

But one of the great joys of being an uncle so far was having my 8 nieces and nephews over and giving away my Lego collection. We built spaceships and had the best day I’ve had in a long time. 021

I’m still sick but now I’m sick and flexible. Still, stretching out in front of the fire with my little buddy is one daily experience I treasure and the closest I get to pain relief. 010

But as of today he can walk down stairs again which was the final major hurdle in getting his independence back! Huge relief. 020
