I just don’t try to actively dissuade others from any path that works. You’ve never tried AA, so why try to denegrate it? Oddly enough, AA has a tool for just that… “contempt prior to investigation”… don’t knock it till you’ve tried it and seen the results.

I was seeing a doctor for a while.. wait, why didn't I marry him? Oh... he was a lying, cheating.. piece of shi... where was I.... He explained that to build muscles, you have to physically injure your existing muscles... physiologically "no pain, no gain" so why is emotional growth any different?

How do you find such a beautiful relationship? Go to meetings… Listen… with your heart… Find the person who has the kind of energy you want… Ask them… for help… If they say no for any reason… don’t be discouraged… they have their own lives to worry about… Find another… try them out…

I came very close as well... and had the doctors had to stop and think about the legality... I would have. I've had ppl... slut shame me... and debate me on the morals of treating it.. on this platform... Some days I have no idea what planet I'm on... these are things that are not up for discussion.
