In Aethos, an affinity is an essential personality trait, psychological motivator, or instinctual behavior classification. All Aethonites have affinities for certain behaviors which compel them to act in specific ways and have goals that are formed in direct correlation.

Aethos is a magical dimension that feeds off of living matter from a source world like a parasite. The name derives from Latin "Modes of Persuasion." Ethos: Credibility & Ethics. A negative prefix "A-" is added to make Aethos, meaning "The place without Credibility & Ethics".
