Finally feeling rested and recovered from Redshift! I wanna try to get back to APC grinding this weekend, but we’ll see. Weather is supposed to be a little soggy. Also, Extreme Pro VODs are now on my Twitch. Trying to export to YT, but Day 1 gauntlet be sluggish

I’m home from Redshift! Took the time to do a write-up while I’m readjusting to my own time zone again. lol. TLDR; thank you again to everyone for participating and helping out! Thank you especially to Red Note for allowing me to run a DDR Extreme event!

All of default ZINRAI SPH EXHC’d!! The Soflan charts were a little grueling, and I have to remember the 1P start button is further from the TT on cabs. 😆 A great session so far! Will try to get through some SPA-11s before the day ends.

I’m playing ZINRAI and I get this alert! It’s a “NEW” day, yes it is!! youtu.be/xmhuQVFn8VU?...

I upscored this by 8K+, but my ankles just didn’t want anymore at the worst spot, before the last speedup. I need to make my feet stronger!

SIM / SnowStorm @snowstorm.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

I will not be attending MAGFest. It’s just personally not in my budget or in my plans. I need to do some saving after Redshift and try to get back on track with things.

Im actually glad Perfects aren’t a thing in IIDX Infinitas, but, this would either be my first or second Level 10 Perfect!! Dirty one at that, though. Also got the HC lamp on the EFGH folder on SPH!

Finished the new Dungeon Fighter DLC pack for DJMAX Respect V on 4B! Some solid SC charts in this one! Also got about 50 points closer to the next class rank even though I don’t wanna push any further. But yay points!!

Someone told me this morning what the 8th Dan set was for ZINRAI and I’m lucky to have all the songs on Infinitas, so I went practice them. Next Thursday needs to get here!!

SIM / SnowStorm @snowstorm.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

Everyone is already achieving 8th Dan in BeatmaniaIIDX 34 ZINRAI! I want to join in!

I wanna keep enjoying what I do and have a chance to share it with others. That’s why I’m trying to stream. That’s why I’m trying to make content. I wanna share my love for the games. Moments like this are why I keep going! youtu.be/DVtokqdZJZg?...

How the hell did I get a 2K up on this? I’ve been feeling bloated and my feet rough all day! Yay new 25 Quint!

Don’t wanna pay $15 for temporary access to 2 songs right now, so until Thursday, I now have a Clear on EVERY 4B chart in DJMAX Respect V!!… except those 2 songs.

SIM / SnowStorm @snowstorm.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

Haven’t played DJMAX Respect V in a hot minute! Had to fix that!

No go tonight. Allergies still wrecking me. Gonna do some other gaming offline instead and rest up for some SMX tomorrow if the weather isn’t crap.

SIM / SnowStorm @snowstorm.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

I will TRY to continue Chrono Trigger tonight. I have some stuff to handle before tomorrow afternoon and allergies also kicked my ass last night, so we’ll see. I do plan on streaming more during this coming week mixing SMX, Chrono, and maybe some DJMAX, IIDX, or 3rd Strike.

I actually had trouble with the fight against the Masamune fusion monster. lol! Made it to getting the Masamune repaired tonight. I think I might need a few levels before going too much further. I’m honestly having fun on a fresh run. And glad a few people came chat.

Catching up on Nintendo Direct news. Yay new Kirby? I’m fairly out of it on modern games. Outside of retro/arcade collections, I think the last “new” game I played was Tekken 8 or COTW? And right now I’m not even touching stuff I OWN because I’m doing PSBlackout.

Instead of streaming. I went watch a friend stream SMX instead and join in on a community event. No regrets. I didn’t really have a great day today outside of the jersey coming in so I needed to just chill for a change.

010

SIM / SnowStorm @snowstorm.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

I already played this morning and my back started hurting, but this came in and I am loving it!!

SIM / SnowStorm @snowstorm.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Wanted to go live this morning for an SMX session, but have adulting things to take care of. Still will try to do some more Chrono Trigger tonight if anyone wants to chill.

000

SIM / SnowStorm @snowstorm.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

My everything hurts! But some really good upscores in SMX today, too!!

More Level 11 goodies in IIDX this morning!

030

SIM / SnowStorm @snowstorm.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

Played some IIDX Infinitas at least. Fairly happy with the lamps! But then I tried a Level 12 chart and it was an instant regret.

000

SIM / SnowStorm @snowstorm.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

I honestly sometimes hate how protective I am of my equipment. Wanted to stream last night and tonight, but the weather hasn’t been good, so I won’t turn my SMX cab or stream PC on.

To all REDSHIFT DDR ExPro Players, We have updated the rules for the Top 8 DE phase. We will be using Random Song First rules with song loser selecting the next song until a match winner is decided instead of Protect Order. Only a couple spots left! Don’t Miss It!

SIM / SnowStorm @snowstorm.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

A little bit of IIDX to get the blood flowing.

020

SIM / SnowStorm @snowstorm.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Trying to think of something different for streams, maybe on an evening or two when not rhythm games. Would a fresh Steam play of Chrono Trigger be worth watching nowadays? The category for it is dead so I wanna label it as Retro, but is it wrong? I just can’t splurge on a Retrotink right now.

Another great SMX update!! This Is Revolution absolutely wrecked me. lol! Have to read that with a top speed of 525 instead of my usual 350! But good stuff all around!

Im going to go to sleep and have wavy dreams about this next wave of SMX content that just dropped. Looking forward to running it tomorrow!
