Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 31/01/2025Farfetch'd has always been my favourite, but there's been some tough competition over the years! Favorite Pokémon | Favorite starter Favorite Legendary | Favorite mythical 030
Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 05/01/2025The list of things I want to see and play has started to pile up even more, so I'm setting some media goals for 2025. •24 Games •12 Shows (or Seasons) •24 Movies It seems pretty achievable, but we'll find out! 450
Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 05/12/2024QRT with your top 4 gen 8 Pokemon Legends: Arceus really shook up my top 10 for gen 8. Mr. Rime surprised me because I didn't love Mr. Mime (either forme), but Rime and his dancing was great. And of course Farfetch'd is my overall favorite so Sirfetch'd was an easy pick. 020
Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 01/12/202411/30: Media I finished this month. A pretty light month for finishing things. For shows, I finished Season 6 of My Hero Academia, pretty good overall. For games, I finished Shadows Over Loathing. Loved it, absolutely would recommend. 030
Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 01/12/2024Missed a few :x 11/29: Media that makes me nostalgic FLCL: When I first watched it, it made me nostalgic for a time and place I didn't grow up in. And now it makes me nostalgic even more looking back. FFXI: Several songs from the game snap me back. Windurst, Jueno, Selbina, etc. 030
Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 26/11/202411/25: What am I a collector of. I mostly collect pins, modtly of anime and video games. I also collect video games, but less so now that the Steam Deck is my primary device. And last I kind of collect figures, but not as much as I used to. 130

Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 25/11/202411/24: A friend I appreciate. This may seem like a cop out and a bit cheesy, but @leafypop.bsky.social My best friend and source of so much happiness in my life. 240
Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 24/11/202411/23: Single or multiplayer? With me getting back into FFXIV I suppose I should say multiplayer. But besides that, mostly single player. My preferred genres and games are single. And I don't really like playing with random people online that much xD 010
Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 23/11/202411/22: Do I snack while gaming? Only when grinding or playing something turn based. If I'm putting a lot of attention into a game, snacking is not a multitask that I enjoy xD 030
Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 22/11/202411/21: Fav. cozy show No cozy show really comes to mind as a favourite. But I will instead mention shorts by Luke Humphris. So many of them are cozy in uncozy setting settings. Here is one, if you like it check put the rest of his stuff. youtube.com/shorts/uWyYr...youtube.comCamping in the Midwest on a Rainy AfternoonYouTube video by Luke Humphris 000
Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 22/11/2024Fire had a great start, but didn't last long. Fuecoco almost made me jump back on the fire train. 210
Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 21/11/202411/20: Fav. quote from a book/game I think it would have to be a quote from Death in Hogfather by Terry Pratchett. Honestly the whole conversation around it hit me at just the right time in my life. "HUMANS NEED FANTASY TO BE HUMAN. TO BE THE PLACE WHERE THE FALLING ANGEL MEETS THE RISING APE." 030
Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 20/11/202411/19: Retro or modern games? Both! You may have noticed a common theme with these entries, I can't pick favourites, and I want everything! There are so many new games I've loved and even more I haven't had a chance to play. And on the other hand I revisit older games or catch ones I missed. 010
Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 19/11/202411/18: Fav anime opening theme I think I may have to go with one new and one old. The old would be Battlecry - Nujabes - Samurai Champloo Just so chill and nostalgic. Sets the vibe for the show so well. And the new would be Otonoke - Creepy Nuts - Dandadan Very catchy! 010
Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 18/11/2024Had a pretty productive week, and I managed to accomplish most of my goals~ I finished Shadows Over Loathing, loved it! In FFXIV, I got Summoner to 100, onward to Samurai. And I finished Season 6 of My Hero Academia, will probably switch to another show before moving on to Season 7. 040
Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 18/11/202411/17: Currently watching/playing. I'm back in an anime mood and currently watching Dandadan, Ranma 1/2 (2024), and MHA. Dandadan has been fantastic so far, can't recommend enough. Currently I'm playing Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Really enjoying it thus far. 120
Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 16/11/202411/15: An item on my wishlist Hmm, that with Steam Deck is pretty cool xD But no, there's a few games I'd like to pick up soon Dragon Quest III HD-2D Emio The Smiling Man Astro Bot 030
Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 15/11/202411/14: Do I play on Easy, Medium, or Hard Mode I pretty much always start with Normal, and if I really like a game or if it is just way to easy I'll switch to Hard. 010
Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 14/11/202411/13: My fav. bad game Without a doubt, Deadly Premonition. Whenever I recommend this game to someone else, I always pitch it as "a bad game, but a fantastic experience". Somehow every sound effect, song, odd dialogue, item picture, and bad controls compound and make some amazing.media.tenor.coma man wearing a suit and tie is looking at the cameraALT: a man wearing a suit and tie is looking at the camera 010
Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 13/11/202411/12: Fav. song from a game This is so tough, I'll have to list a few! FFXI Distant Worlds The Federation of Windurst FFXIV Answers In the Balance Xenoblade 2 Drifting Soul No More Heroes 3 Night in Prague Xenoblade 3 A Life Sent On 010
Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 12/11/202411/11: Some goals for the week Finish Shadows Over Loathing Some FFXIV goals: Do the new Alliance Raid, hopefully get some XI music. And get Summoner to 100. And lastly, relax while I still can before holiday madness, maybe watch some anime~ (Dandadan, MHA S6, and Gundam Witch from Mercury) 050
Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 11/11/202411/10: A favourite book Small Gods - Terry Pratchett A part of the Discworld series, it focuses on one of the religions of the setting. Experiencing the world through the eyes of the main character, Brutha was a delight. 020
Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 10/11/202411/9: My Fav. Villian Since I missed yesterday I'll pick 3. Emet-Selch (FFXIV) - Charismatic and sympathetic. Zenos (FFXIV) - His simplicity makes him a good foil for the other villains. Kreia (Kotor 2) - Tired of both sides and hell, even the setting she is in. 010
Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 08/11/2024Blazing Blade was my first one. And what piqued my interest was Smash Bros and my love of FF Tactics/Tactics Ogre. 010
Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 08/11/202411/7: Favourite retro game I'm always so terrible at picking favourites, I'm so avaricious with things I really like xD But that being said, I think I would have to say Final Fantasy VI The music, the story, the characters all fantastic and all have stayed with me for decades. 020
Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 07/11/202411/6: Do I like romance in RPGs? I usually enjoy it when it's there, but certainly don't need it. I like seeing different sides to characters or just spending more of the characters I like! Here are some of the characters I romanced in various games~ 110
Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 05/11/202411/5: What is the wildiest thing I have done in The Sims? I haven't played much Sims, but you know the standard stuff. Removing pool ladders, fires in closed off spaces, etc. Perhaps the last Sims game I played being 2 is the wildest? 010
Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 04/11/202411/4: Do I like open world games? For the most part, yes! Some of my favourite games have been open world. Exploring a world and discovering small details. But at the same time, I feel like not every game needs to be open world, and some of them could benefit by not being one. 110
Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 04/11/202411/3: What will I do for myself this week? I'm getting a tattoo touched up, a bit overdue, but it's fine! And sneaking in one more session of D&D before Thanksgiving madness. 010
Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 03/11/202411/2: Media that I enjoyed last month Game: Shadows Over Loathing: So much humor crammed into everywhere. Interested to see where the story leads. 🎷 Show: Dandadan: Getting more into the anime mood again and glad it was in time for this one! 👻 👽 010
Snow Muffin @snowmuffin.bsky.social · 02/11/2024This seems like fun, so joining in! 11/1: Game Backlog/TBR Game Backlog: ▪︎Shadows Over Loathing (current focus) •Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth (in progress) TBR: Jingo - Terry Pratchett 340
