Thanks Germany, you saved me at least €70 if not a bit more today. I feel no guilt, as this was bought locally and legally; I stayed within 15km of my house, paid tax on it all and tried to get everything at stores that treat their people in acceptable ways.

A pile of groceries on the floor; amongst other things are two crates of beer, a bottle of whiskey, a tray of Monster energy, 10 bottles of shampoo or shower gel, shaving foam, multiple tubes of toothpaste, cleaning supplies, crisps and supplements.

Velaro D / ICE3 (neo) is pretty nice. Interior is a touch corporate but calm. While the seats feel a touch shorter than on the ICE2 we had coming in, the head rests and especially seat backs are much better. These don’t cause me neck and lower back pain. #train #travel #bahn #siemens #ice
