He is trying to pigeonhole Peterson and Peterson doesn't accept it, nor should he. He didn't body him. He exposed his own ignorance and unwillingness to engage on the topic at hand.

Agreed, but most people don't want the government to mind its own business. They just want them to do different things that aren't minding its own business.

Good thing there isn't a law requiring people to buy insurance.

A photo of this happening would be far more impactful than a photoshopped image.

He doesn't. DOGE has been created to act in an advisory capacity. The Dept of the Treasury is the one stopping payments and cutting budgets.

A dictatorship doesn't mean a country doesn't have respect for human rights. There have been benevolent dictators. It's not that EO abuse isn't terrible. It's that these two things have nothing to do with each other.

Systemic racism is a convenient way to convince minorities that they are and always will be victims because of the color of their skin because it lurks even in places with no evidence of racism. The use of term is ironically, it's own form of racism.

That's because of the tariffs, not middle-school level taunts of making them a 51st state.

That's some obvious fear-mongering.

The annexation talk is bait. I'm surprised you're taking it.

I didn't vote for him and find his renaming of things silly, and talking of annexation of random geographical locations childish. It is nice having someone take action against the federal bureaucracy, although I'm concerned about how he is doing it.

We don't want people to hire someone because they're white. The EO made it illegal to consider race at all during the hiring process. It remains illegal to hire someone because they're white, but it's also illegal to hire because they are women, hispanic, etc.

They made it illegal to consider race, sex, etc a factor when hiring people. It is just as illegal to hire someone for being white as it is to hire someone for being black. The intent is to hire the best person regardless of which group they belong to.

Or their qualified applicant pool is > 31% white men. No one questions the NBA's racial makeup for a reason.

They're clones. They're bred to serve the empire.

Those are similar phrases. AI is a bit tone deaf. It needs you to spell out exactly what you're talking about. It's surprisingly difficult to keep AI on track. It's often humbling as AI expects you to know what you want, and in writing prompts shows you that you don't know that yet.

Maybe he'll do nothing and we'll lose more birds and we can lambast him for it. Maybe he'll do nothing and nothing will change. Maybe he'll do something different. I anticipate he'll replace flock destruction with flock destruction and claim credit for innovation. Too early to tell.

This is true. The Democrat millionaires who have done nothing but be politicians seems fishy to me too.

This has been going on for years, but is now a conspiracy because Trump has been in office for less than two weeks?

This is clearly the fault of one man who has been in office for less than two weeks.

Are these related at all? Web sites can continue to run without a few minutes of funding. This sounds a lot like monuments that were closed during Covid that didn't require any work to keep them open.

Just because an organization has a good name doesn't mean it does what the name implies and definitely doesn't mean that it does so in a way that cares for the money of the people of the United States. A less nuclear option would be preferable, but the only action has been additional funding.

Continuing to throw hundreds of billions of dollars at institutions that are not meeting our needs is clearly not working either.

Is that critical thinking? Creating something from information is something we can all do, but questioning what we absorb is at the heart of critical thinking. Is it accurate? Is it complete? Am I drawing conclusions rather than stating facts? That's the point. Know what you're working with.

Both can be true. There are problems with having women in law enforcement. Their lesser strength compared to the men they have to capture is a disadvantage which increases the chances they'll need to use a weapon. At the same time, they can be valuable on the force in the right positions.
