Signed up for a 5k race - it'll take place at Tempelhofer Feld. Tried to run 2 to 3 times a week since after EF and wanna see how well I can survive and test my fitness. Let's see 🐕☁️ I'm a slow runner but low key determined to become mediocre at running.

Yeah by now there are so many different ultra competitions out there. Both in the US and Europe (and probably other parts of the world 😁) Humanity is trying to find out how far they can go and my god. It is impressive. Don't know if you've heard about Rachel Entrekin at Cocodona. Also insane.

It is very inspiring! I think the last man stopped 24 hours earlier. So for 24h they've been battling against each other as last women standing to then agree mutually that both have won before things become unhealthy. I deeply admire that!

Women in sports are heavily underrated. 🔥 The first Backyard (Ironman) Ultra Triathlon has just ended and the last two athletes standing were women. Over 66 hours non-stop: 16.5 km swimming, 660 km cycling, and 165 km running. In the end, Hanna Schramm and Jess Ittner agreed to a tie. 🫡

Took the steam train, which is called "Rasender Roland" (Roaring Roland). It is not only fun but also the only direct connection between Putbus (where my car is) and Selin 😶‍🌫️ Going only every 2h which is inconvenient. Still cool. Grabbing dinner then taking Roland back. Time to go back to Berlin.

Es gab son Video wo sie gezeigt haben, wie sie die Rohblöckd herstellen. Die nutzen Wasser und verdichten das dann mit so ner Maschine xD ich glaub dieser Sand ist dann schon etwas stabiler als der "normale und unbearbeitete". Aber es ist trotzdem krass. Ich glaub ich könnte das auch nicht.

Visited the sand sculptures exhibition in Prora. This years theme was german proverbs. Quite impressive what you can build with sand. Especially loved the animals of course - but it was all pretty cool.

Ja ich finde die Designs auch richtig schön. Man merkt dass es mit liebe organisiert wird :D ist noch sehr klein und eher an Orten im Norden. Werde definitiv nochmal zu sowas hin wenns terminlich und von der location passt. Waren auch alle sehr nett.

Finished a 33km hike on Rügen (by Ostseeweg). It was insanely wimdy but thankfully didn't rain until I was done. Their mascot is Susi the seahorse and... I don't know. I just had to buy her. Attached her to my backpack and she was my companion for the rest of the day. The medal is super pretty.

Took the ferry to Hiddensee this morning to spend the day here. It's an island without cars, so I rented myself a bicycle to get around. The main attraction is a lighthouse. It was rather wimdy up t This place is beyond beautiful.

Spent a long weekend in the Harz mountains with some furry friends. Lotsa hiking close to Netzkater. Had goat milk ice cream from a little farm. Many pretty rocks. More rocks. In the photos you see Gänseschnabel, Teufelsmauer, Poppenbergturm. The dog in the photo is sadly not me but Maja.

Yes~ that's why I only dared doing the "small" one. The smallest is 25 but that seemed "not enough of a challenge". I didn't dare touching the big ones 😅 70km, 1800HM and 114,5km, 2850. The medium one is gonna be really really hard but maybe possible? We shall see. Dragon hunting aint Kindergarten 😎

Signed up for another extreme hiking event! Is this furry-themed... or scaley? 🐉 Lindwurm (In the Eye of the Dragon) is all about chasing dragons, so I’m tackling 45 km with 1,000 m elevation to hunt down Tabaluga and Grizu. Less hand-holding this time - so navigation is pure GPX track on my phone!
